Y’all having a diaspora war about what happened in the Bronx from fly over states whole time if you from the Bronx, you know exactly who probably did this smh

!! very weird for african americans to be the first thought on ppl’s minds for a (bullying-based) shooting in the bronx. like what are y’all actually talking about?
especially w no info released, just reactionary and doing harm w/ speculations
Inherently? No. But again I think it’s kind of weird to deny that history or to act like there hasn’t been a shift in the way they operate. That’s just based on what I’ve learned and heard from those much older than me. But yall would rather just demonize those people and groups.

you want to turn the death of a young boy into fuel for your culture war because you are a disgusting piece of shit. y’all care nothing about the family, just wanna have talking points to win twitter arguments. a bunch of pathetic ass fucking losers.

Afrophobia unites everyone globally so it's not like it's a Black American exclusive phenomenon. People making nonsensical conspiracy theories and blaming the dad are sickos

The Ghanaian kids death should have sparked a discourse in the proliferation of firearms in the cities and the dangers of teenage gangs, but people will just use it as fuel for racist diaspora wars.
A lot of people not being honest in this conversation. Yes y’all hate immigrants. Yes anti black tribalism goes in every direction. It’s not just Black Americans who are xenophobic to people from African nations. And yes yall are odd to assume it was a Black American who did it.
I really wish moments like this would bring us together. Would make us all acknowledge how ugly tribalism can get but y’all are so stubborn . It’s not okay to be using his death to start spouting anti black takes at eachother. Like posting gang stats in bad faith. Fuck yall fr.

like you can’t invisibilize the black american demographic while simultaneously making them the face of every anti-black attack in nyc…

And it’s not as if dislike of immigrants is unique to one group of ppl either but for us the bottom line is antiblackness gets us killed doesnt matter where you’re from, ppl are slipping too easily into rhetoric to hate other groups of black people more & more & it’s unfortunate

I’m willing to bet it was someone Latino or West Indian but it doesn’t matter to me cuz a child is dead and people wanna uphold a funky narrative. Like black Americans aren’t also bullied in the Bronx as well.

when it’s found out that 15 year old boy was not killed by Black Americans….what will be said? Will there be apologies??

Absolutely zero reason 15 year olds should have guns in New York, more or less using it. Innocent life lost for some stripes and street crediblity smh.

Hi, I wanted to share Javits Frimpong’s story with you. Javits was 15 and had come to the United States from Ghana for a brighter future and better education, living with his father in New York, but his life was tragically taken just one day after October 28 marked one year since his arrival. The fundraiser is already bringing people together to help his father and family with funeral, burial, and unexpected expenses, and I’m grateful to everyone who has supported them so far. If you’re able, please donate or share the GoFundMe page to help Javits’s family through this loss.
Donate if you can :/
