I flipped someone off and did some cursing. That's it. No violence. No threats. No crime. And yet I got arrested. Since when does offending an Israeli citizen justify dragging an American citizen into police custody?
WHO DECIDED THAT MY FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS WERE LESS IMPORTANT THAN AN ISRAELI'S OFFENDED FEELINGS?
I will not apologize for opposing Israel's government, its occupation, its military actions, or the American politicians who bankroll them. I don't take orders from Israel. I don't bow to its apologists. And I certainly won't surrender my constitutional rights to spare anyone's feelings.

Our food system isn't broken by accident. Decades of corporate consolidation have concentrated enormous power over farmers, food processors, grocery shelves, and prices.
THE FED CAN'T FIX THIS PROBLEM.
This is an antitrust problem. A competition problem. A corporate power problem.
We have the tools: aggressive antitrust enforcement, stronger protections for independent farmers, and a Farm Bill that puts producers and consumers ahead of corporate giants.
Break up the monopolies. Restore competition. Put our food system back in the hands of the people.
Iowa used to be built on hogs raised on family farms in every county, every corner, every community.
That money stayed local, on main streets and in small towns.
Then giant meat corporations moved in.
Farm Action Local Leader John Gilbert, an Iowa farmer, says it plainly:
"A very small handful of giant multinational... companies that are pulling all the profits out of Iowa."
When corporations siphon off the wealth, rural communities dry up, and farmers lose their independence.

AIPAC is routing millions through other PACs to try and mask their involvement in the Michigan Senate race. GCLF announced a $4.7 million ad buy and it was leaked to the press that AIPAC funded it after the latest disclosure deadline.
Pro-Israel donors are also propping up TFM, another passthrough PAC dumping millions into Michigan.
Mike Rogers Israel lobby total is now at least $13 million.

What a joke! AIPAC has been funneling money through “democracy engine” instead of doing direct donations and bundling. I introduced a bill that would require AIPAC to disclose their influence campaigns just as others do under FARA.
