Remember when Wes Streeting called for an arms embargo against Saudi Arabia for the indiscriminate killing of civilians in Yemen? And called the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi a red line?

Dockworkers struck on Friday across 113 ports in 22 countries in a coordinated international day of action under the slogan “Dockworkers do not work for war.” Actions included blocking port entrances and marching in major cities, including Genoa (Italy), Piraeus (Greece), Le Havre (France), and Tangier (Morocco). The unions’ “Istanbul Declaration” demands that ports never be used to transport weapons to conflict zones, alongside an immediate end to the genocide in Gaza.

Brilliant response
Piers Morgan: What was it you were smirking about? Moser: I was actually laughing... A recently founded settler colony, Israel, which was founded in living memory... ranting at an Iranian, saying that his country is fake, Iran, one of the most ancient countries in the world.

Excellent analysis of #Budget2026 @JohnHealey_MP ‘The UK has more than £12 trillion in financial wealth, so the money is there if the government had the slightest ounce of courage to inconvenience capital wealth. But they haven’t, and they won’t.’ counterfire.org/article/caug…
