#BREAKING: Lindsay Clancy jury tells the judge they cannot reach a unanimous verdict.

Right now, the best option is to have a hung jury. This will reset everything. New judge, new jury, and hopefully they’ll be sequestered this time. Hopefully they’ll get logical people on the jury. They should have immediately removed the pink wearing people yesterday. But I’m wondering if the prosecution wanted to let it go so that they could get the hung jury? I don’t know but this just sounds like the right thing, reset and start again.
Lindsay did nothing wrong

Entirely unsurprising...
The jury has been given complicated instructions, rightly, and the NGRI rules they are required to follow make a verdict very difficult
Jurors don't get to use simplistic, moralistic judgements like those littering social media; they have to do a thorough job
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Clancy will almost certainly not be convicted of murder, and if I were on the jury I'd vote not guilty...not because of ideology or morality, which is not a jurors job...based purely on the evidence and NGRI rules as they stand i could not convict
People might not like the rules, but Clancy's rights remain, independently of who approves of them
And those are rights everyone has, and should have
Take care not to rage away your own legal protections
