I'm gonna go see the new Resident Evil movie this week, but before I do please understand: - I REALLY dislike Zach Cregger's other movies (Weapons & Barbarian). - I'm a huge RE fanboy since I was a kid, started with RE2 on the PS1. and have played pretty much all the games since including spinoffs. - I care about RE lore way too much. - I hate all other RE movies. - I dislike all of the quotes Zach Cregger has given out about the movie during its marketing phase. so I am pretty much the one singular person BUILT to hate this movie... BUT I GENUINELY DO TRULY WANT TO GIVE IT A FAIR SHOT DESPITE THAT! so ill try going into it with an open mind, because everyone says its really good and I don't want to mindlessly hate if I can find something to enjoy about an entry into my favorite franchise. ill QRT this post after I go see it with my thoughts! I genuinely hope ill be able to enjoy it 🙏
