it just shows that everyone goes to extremes. like instead of having a conversation about how gay men have capacity to also engage in misogyny, people have to be like “actually gay men are the MOST misogynistic”. and it just feels like it’s coming from a bad faith place.

as i've said before i think the strange take that gay men are just as or More misogynistic than c1shet men despite all empirical evidence suggesting otherwise is coming from the belief that lack of sexual attraction to women is in and of itself misogynistic

but at the end of the day this conversation only exists online because in the real world, many women have said they feel much more comfortable and safe around gay men vs straight men especially at clubs or at night

i need zara larson to stop reading and engaging with social media comments NOWWW. like it’s all great now but just like every other pop girl that gets a lot of praise will eventually get massive unfair hate campaigns. and it’s best if she just protects herself from that now
