Hello friends! 👋
Is really amazing to see our app "Talks & Coffee" ☕️ featured in today's iOS Dev Weekly (OMG) iosdevweekly.com/issues/414?…
We wanted also to share that, we've added new talk videos 👩💻 from ADDC and UIKonf

We identified a security incident affecting a modified Claude Code VS Code extension accessed through our Cursor IDE extension marketplace, impacting at most 5,000 users. This malicious version of the extension was not developed by Anthropic. It does not impact other extensions downloaded from the cursor.com/marketplace, Grok Bot, Grok or our other SpaceXSI products.
In response, we took down our extension marketplace this afternoon, worked with relevant providers to neutralize the malware, and have reinstated the marketplace after confirming there is no further risk.
If affected, please review instructions in this blog post to understand how to find the malicious package and establish a path to mitigate any potential impact. We are asking all customers update to Claude Code for VS Code version 2.1.314: cursor.com/blog/claude-code-…

España ha pasado -tristemente- a ser el país con más fallecidos en alta velocidad, más que todo el resto de países combinados en toda su historia.
El accidente de Alemania de 101 víctimas ocurrió en 1998.

Absolutely devastating, and of course raises serious questions about the safety of the system given the proximity to the Adamuz crash.

Para lo de los accidentes de trenes SI que hay que salir a la calle y exigir responsables. Caray, que irresponsabilidad.

‼️ EU governments approved a GDPR change to let companies train AI on Europeans' personal data without consent.
It makes AI training a possible "legitimate interest", judged case by case. Parliament must still agree.
Max Schrems calls it a "digital expropriation" of Europeans.

I woke up to an email from AWS: "Your AWS Account may be compromised!"
As head of engineering, that's the email I have nightmares about.
Someone had stolen our AWS keys and was using them to run Claude. AWS blocked over 3,000 of their requests and locked down our whole account, so we couldn't make new deployments.
(The one request that got through was Opus. At least they have taste.)
I checked everything else. No new users, nothing deleted. Ok. Breathe.
Then OpenAI emailed. Then Stripe told us our live key was "publicly available online."
Everyone on the team ran a forensic script on their laptop. My agent went through CI, our servers and git history, and checked for the npm worm going around. All clean. (Which was somehow worse.)
Then we found it. We hadn't used one of the stolen keys since July, and the only place it still existed was an old Railway service that wasn't even running anymore.
Three weeks ago we moved our core infra from Railway to AWS, partly because of all the downtime and partly because we were tired of running up against Railway limits. It took a few months to make the jump, and we'd started wondering if we made the wrong call.
A few hours later, Railway announced it had been breached. AWS told us at 4am. Railway told everyone at 3pm.
They said "rotate your keys". But they also said deployments are frozen. We'd just migrated off, so we dodged that bullet by a hair.
Everyone still on Railway gets to choose: Leave your credentials exposed, or take down your servers?

If your Android app relies on OkHttp (directly or via Retrofit/Ktor), you might be exposed to recent certificate authority vulnerabilities until platform roots are patched. Here's how to use a custom HostnameVerifier as a quick application-layer workaround: publicobject.com/2026/10/20/… #AndroidDev #OkHttp

🚨 BREAKING: Microsoft says China state-aligned hackers used AI agents in the ConnectWise supply-chain hack.
Storm-0940 used the AI pentest tool ARTEX to reach 2,250+ Microsoft 365 tenants at 2,900 attempts a minute.
Some attacks reached privileged cloud access within 3 hours.

🚨 The AI gateway library LiteLLM was hijacked again in a supply chain attack.
It hid malware that runs whenever Python starts and steals SSH keys, cloud secrets and Claude Code configs.
It also raids LiteLLM's own database for every AI provider key stored.

🚨 LiteLLM, a Python package for connecting to AI model providers with 92M+ monthly downloads, has been compromised.
Version 1.107.0 ships credential-stealing malware through PyPI wheels and Docker images, targeting cloud credentials, developer secrets, and AI tools.

‼️BREAKING: PHP has released its fix for the two leaked flaws, which can let attackers run code on servers without logging in.
"There are no complete mitigations, updating is the only safe choice," PHP says.
Update to PHP 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36 or 8.2.35 now.
PHP says Apache with mod_php is most at risk, with a demonstrated exploit that fires before any application code runs.
PHP 8.1 and older get no official update, though PHP has published source backports for 7.4, 8.0 and 8.1.

‼️ PHP UPDATE: The Dutch parliament, the Dutch national cyber agency and Finland's central government have pulled websites offline ahead of the PHP patch.
Finland's state IT centre Valtori is shutting down public-facing central government web services. The National Land Survey of Finland is already down.
In the Netherlands, the Tweede Kamer, the NCSC and the Dutch Data Protection Authority are offline. So are tech site Tweakers and NotuBiz, which runs council information for 100+ local governments.
The University of Vienna switched off its websites, webmail and Moodle. The University of Freiburg and Finland's Haaga-Helia have taken services down too.
Fur Affinity, Pinboard, explain xkcd and every wiki on Miraheze are dark as well.
Valtori says its shutdown is a precaution, not the result of an attack or breach.
PHP was created by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1994, it initially stood for Personal Home Page
PHP's fix is due at 14:00 UTC today.
Very important:
1.- TLS certs have been compromised, this means you need to update your phone/computer OS, your browser (and you families ones as well) . For servers do a curl
emudhra.we-have-a-problem.co… if it's accepted UPDATE
2.- If you have a server running PHP UPDATE IT NOW.
