THINGS I KNOW AT 56
Integrity isn't just doing the right thing when nobody is watching.
Sometimes it's doing the right thing when everyone is watching, knowing full well it may cost you something.
A friendship. An opportunity. A little comfort. Maybe even your reputation with people who don't know the whole story.
But I've learned something along the way.
Doing what's right sometimes comes at a high price. The cost of betraying your own principles can be much higher.
Be Steady.

Yes!
Being thankful & grateful for all that one needs and not desirous of the things that they do not need then one can walk in abundance. When one walks in abundance, they are rich.
Needs and wants are not the same.
The wants will keep you wanting. There is never peace because there is always more to obtain.
When you have what you need to survive, you are truly more rich than much of the world ποΈ

Once again liberal women are more than excited at the thought of having the opportunity to kill their babies. They will fight for the right to do everything except being a decent and responsible human being.

We went from "don't mess with texas" to "don't mess with my pronouns" pretty quickly. This is what you get when you allow people to vote for free stuff
Amen!
Meeting crisis with compassion, not lessons. ππ₯
"When someone is drowning, that is not the time to teach them how to swim" β Adele Faber
βIn moments of intense crisis, panic, or overwhelm, people donβt need an evaluation, a lecture, or a roadmap for how they should have avoided the situation in the first place. When someone is desperately struggling just to stay above water, their immediate, only necessity is to be heard, held, and pulled to safety.
βIn our desire to solve problems, we often jump too quickly to logic, advice, or critiquing someoneβs mistake while they are actively suffering. True empathy requires us to recognize that there is a time for teaching and a time for simply saving. Real help isnβt about fixing the person in the midst of the stormβitβs about offering them a hand until they are back on solid ground.
