Due to some complications at Carl Sandburg College, I’ve decided to transfer for the spring semester. My Letter of Intent has been released, and I’m open to all opportunities moving forward.

Thank you @PrepBaseballIL for the recognition. #9 overall and #5 at my position. Working to improve as a SS/3B, not just a pitcher. Here are my videos from the State Games in August.

This is a beautiful visual of how being a “late bloomer” (in life and sport) is usually a blessing … as long as you keep pushing through the adversity. Never ever give up!
Very often, the late bloomers pass by … become physically better and mentally tougher… than the “early developers” who are often seen (up to 13 or 14 years old) as the “sure to be stars”…. Seen it thousands of times.

BASEBALL NEEDS MORE DUGOUT GUYS.
Not bench players.
DUGOUT GUYS.
The kid who’s hitting .180 and is still the loudest dude when his teammate barrels one.
The starter who gets pulled in the fifth and is on the fence two minutes later.
The kid who picks up the catcher’s mask.
Grabs the helmet somebody tossed.
Meets the guy who scored at home plate.
Knows who’s due up.
Actually watches the damn game when he isn’t playing.
Nobody puts that on a Perfect Game profile.
There’s no exit velo for it.
No ranking.
No highlight video.
But ask any coach who’s been around long enough…
THOSE KIDS ARE WORTH THEIR WEIGHT IN GOLD.
Everybody wants to be the guy.
Baseball needs more guys who are just as fired up when their teammate gets to be the guy.
