The DA and the ANC are not the only parties to vote for. Vote with your brain not with your heart.
South Africa needs to prepare for the loss of AGOA. It will be devastating. But we should only worry if we fail to replace it with trade and economic cooperation from China, Russia, and India.
Your vote in the upcoming elections should not be determined by hatred of foreigners, or even by distaste for other South Africans. Our real concern should be government corruption, state inefficiency, and the mismanagement of inequality.
Food to Gaza is being cut by the World Food Programme because of funding shortages. Trump cutting USAID in 2025 is the main driver. Other major donors are also pulling back, making it worse.
Herman Mashaba refuses to see reality. His argument relies on a nationalist illusion that ignores the material realities of capitalism and global interdependence. But in the 2026 political climate, dog-whistling to xenophobic sentiments will surely win votes.
People responding to Helen Zille drifting in a car with enthusiasm to go and vote for the DA should confront the reality of whether they want a drifter or a mayor able to uplift people out of poverty. And Zille has said that it is the responsibility of the individual.
The N2 wall is a masterclass of apartheid-era thinking disguised as a safety solution. It’s the ultimate proof that when the DA can’t manage basic service delivery, they just build a concrete wall so you can’t see the suffering they mismanage.
The people of Hammanskraal have been fighting the lack of water supply for years. The executive mayor is with ActionSA. Gatvol? Vote ActionSA.
Please do not compare me with Greta Thunberg. I'm not a progressive. I'm a leftist who believes in the overthrowing of the world order and capitalism as we know it, in preparation for a more egalitarian society.
In a week's time I will be travelling to Moscow for the Russia-Africa 2026 Summit. This meeting is absolutely vital for the African continent in helping establish a new world order built on multilateralism. President Ibrahim Traoré is also set to attend.
Don't worry too much about the future of MK. Long before any hospital visit, Mr Zuma had already put the family succession in place, provisions duly made.
The US urges Israel to "crack down" on violence after an American journalist was attacked by settlers. This is the epitome of hypocrisy, why don’t they crack down on violence when innocent Palestinians are slaughtered daily.
The ruling class uses the state as a committee to manage its wealth. The PIC holds a quarter of Naspers, the ANC and DA each take their allowance, and the press that once sang for apartheid now sings for the coalition. Capital knows no party. It buys them all.
I condemn violence on farms. I condemn violence in rural communities and informal settlements. Violence targeted at the vulnerable is detestable. What is also detestable is selective humanity, claiming any race deserves more humanity.
The South African government must take bigger strides in secularising our society. Firstly, it should show no preference for any religious holiday. Secondly, it should stop school assemblies grounded in a religious foundation.
Schutte claims I publicly champion Palestine, I do, the Palestinian people deserve freedom from occupation. She also claims I defend EFF positions. Firstly, I defend no politician or political party. I never will! In 2024 I voted for the first time, and for the last time.
