Turned 39 yesterday. Spent it in a hospital because of dengue. I had been telling my wife I wanted to celebrate my birthday in a different way instead of going out getting drinks with friends. Looks like my manifestation needs to be more specific.

I listened to this guy because apparently he’s the most honest trader and has $20m pnl on fomo So I bridged and bought some memestocks on arc chain last night Woke up to being down 80% and apparently it’s all a scam Disgusting
some thoughts on Arc chain: ppl building on Arc or related to Arc have reached out to me several times over the past few weeks apparently, they want to get trenchers onto the chain early because they understand that memecoin activity is one of the fastest ways to bootstrap traction for a new chain i mostly ignored them i've been too busy to even keep track of all the messages i get these days, but more importantly, i've believed that onchain activity this cycle will be concentrated around Robinhood, BNB and Solana that was my bias until i learned that fomo will be integrating Arc shortly after launch Seyong from fomo recently told me that the integration should happen within a few days of launch and honestly, that changed my short-term bias on Arc don't get me wrong i still believe RH/BNB/SOL will be where the majority of the real action happens this cycle but there's something important to consider: fomo hasn't even integrated Hyperliquid, Tron or TON and all three of those chains produced runners that reached $100m+ so if fomo is integrating Arc right out of the gate, i think there's a very real possibility that there will be some serious short-term money-making opportunities for trenchers and that's the key distinction: short term i am NOT saying Arc is going to become the next BNB, Robinhood or Solana i'm saying this is the first time fomo will be integrating a non-mainstream chain essentially from launch that makes Arc a very interesting experiment and i'm positioned accordingly i bought the native token of the main launchpad on Arc, $LONG, along with the top 3 memecoins on the launchpad my thesis is basically this: 1. fomo is integrating Arc fomo is becoming one of the main crypto trading apps for retail this cycle i originally ignored Arc entirely the fomo integration changed that 2. Arc is actively trying to attract trenchers multiple ppl building around Arc have reached out to top trenchers like myself that suggests they understand how important early memecoin activity can be for a new chain 3. they appear to be trying the Robinhood playbook i've also had a source tell me that Arc understands how important it is to have trenchers on the chain early and is actively focused on making that happen essentially, they're borrowing a page from the Robinhood playbook and i want to be super, super clear about this: this is a degen, degen rabbit hole this is a short-term adventure i'm not rotating my core thesis away from RH/BNB/SOL and i genuinely believe that RH/BNB/SOL is where you want to concentrate your energy this cycle... and that most other chains will likely be a waste of time on a long enough timeframe so why am i touching Arc? i'm simply betting that the combination of new chain + launchpad + trenchers + fomo integration could create some very interesting early opportunities if you're interested in exploring it, you can either wait for the fomo integration later this week or bridge over earlier through the main launchpad on Arc, Long for those who want to bridge: 1. buy $CRCL on Robinhood (most tokens on Arc are paired against $CRCL): dexscreener.com/robinhood/0x… 2. bridge your Robinhood Chain $CRCL to Arc using the bridge provided by the main launchpad: long.supply/bridge 3. buy whatever you want through long.supply IMPORTANT: don't use trading bots like Basedbot or GMGN right now they're routing through the wrong pools and you could end up losing a significant amount of your money to slippage and if you're not on fomo yet, you really should hurry to get your account set up if this thesis plays out, you don't want to be setting everything up after the opportunities have already appeared join through my ref: fomo.family/r/unipcs i'm also doing a $350k giveaway for active fomo refs so you could literally get rewarded for being early again: this is a short-term degen experiment but if you're a trencher, this is exactly the kind of setup i'd want on my radar before the masses arrive

Congratulations king - because you be balling. Rahul is one of the finest true venture investors in the ecosystem. He will go to war for the founders he believes in. I’ve seen him borrow money, put his own life savings behind founders, and refuse to back down when conviction mattered most. This is the start of something very, very special. To any founder raising: get Rahul on your cap table. Because when the world thinks you’re crazy, you want someone beside you who’s crazy enough to believe even harder.
When I decided to start a VC fund, one of my earliest pitches was to a very well known (and respected) senior VC. After patiently listening to me wax eloquent about why investing in atoms and the frontier is important, he held up his hand and went- 1) You want to start a "Deeptech" fund 2) As a solo GP 3) In India 4) At the earliest stages 5) With a focus on defence, nuclear and space. Which red flag do you not have? It'll be a miracle if you can raise 20-30 crores for this strategy :) A reminder to oneself, that miracles do happen and that one should never let a VC tell you what you can or can't do. A big thank you to our founders, without whom none of this would ever exist 🫡 To our LPs, who saw green where everyone else saw red. To friends and family who believed in us when we couldn't, who pushed us to walk when we could barely crawl, who cheered when there was nothing to see. THANK YOU! It's surreal to feel that this is real and a sobering reminder that this is just Day 1.

What does a frozen octopus in an M3M 65th Avenue supermarket say about Gurugram real estate? More than any rental report this quarter. That store opened for the Koreans and Japanese now filling 2BHK towers in M3M Sky City above. The rents there have already moved. I was in Sector 65 for a client meeting last week. Wrapped up around 6, called a friend who lives in M3M Sky City. He came down and we started strolling in the market below. We passed a supermarket that stood out from the rest. I asked him what the shop was. He got something in his head, smiled, and said, "Come, I'll show you what a Korean corn dog is." I have known him since college. I already suspected he was luring me toward something worse than a corn dog. What I was not prepared for was a whole frozen octopus. He walked me past the corn dog freezer, straight to the counter at the back. Picked up a vacuum-sealed pack and held it in front of my face. Two of them curled inside the plastic. Tentacles pressed flat against the seal. I stood there for a second. I am a strict vegetarian and this was more than I could take in. I walked out of that aisle. He was laughing the whole way. Once we were out, the actual question was still sitting there. Why has this store opened here? Someone put real money into that lease. Fit-out, freezers, imported inventory that turns slower than paneer and dahi. The market has plenty of empty shops and plenty of others doing very well selling standard groceries. Nobody opens a Korean and Japanese aisle for atmosphere. That kind of inventory needs households behind it. The base may be small compared to the rest of the market, but the spend per household is high. Over beer, my friend told me why he thinks the shop opened. He lives in a 3BHK in one of the towers of M3M Sky City. Two towers in the same society are 2BHK towers. Eight units per floor. Sizes from 1,200 to 1,500 sq ft. Over the last year or two, a lot of those 2BHKs have gone on long lease to Korean and Japanese families. He sees them every day. Coming out of the lift in the morning. In the podium. In the market below. Owners who read this shift early are customizing those flats before handing them over. Kitchen changed. Bathroom refit. Storage rebuilt. A low-seating zone in the living room for some. Those customized 2BHKs are pulling ₹75,000 to ₹1 lakh a month, fully furnished, on two and three year contracts. A standard 2BHK in the same tower rents for a lot less. Owners who moved first are earning 20 to 30 percent more per month, with almost no vacancy risk. That is when the supermarket made sense. The vendor counted the households in those two towers first, and probably a few more in nearby societies, before writing the lease cheque for that shop. The market opens after the buyers arrive, not before. This is what most people miss when they call Gurugram overpriced. Prices rise because someone specific chose to be here, then more of them chose, and then the grocery store, the salon, the school and the restaurant all followed. Koreans and Japanese picking specific societies in Sector 65 is a bigger rental signal than any infra tender that will hit the headlines this month. I traveled across the country for years as a mechanical engineer before I got into real estate. I don't know another city in India that absorbs outsiders the way Gurugram does. Language rarely becomes a problem. Nobody asks where you are from before they help you. I don't eat octopus. I never will. But that vacuum pack on the shelf told me more about where Sector 65 rentals are heading than any real estate report I read this month.

youtube.com/watch?v=7fw2Ob6w… @nikhilkamathcio - you got to start with the nuances first. I'm speaking with 8 yrs of entrepreneurship experience with more failures than wins and I'm a very, very observant person. Only one caveat from your conversation in the video : It will be a completely wrong idea to build a platform where only positives are discussed. then you're going against the human's core 7 sins. ( you know it better, you've seen companies creating Bs of value centered around these 7 sins) Now, If you wish to build it, this is what I think( and ofcourse this has to be truly AI-native otherwise you loose the edge anyway): 1. today's Social media, especially a new one, has to be fun. Include speculation. Convert them in the points. Allow those points to be spendable on various platform ( Freecharge playbook.) 2. They've to be super dopie. The vertical drama sections has to be there from the ground up. That's your hook at the very top. not any podcast or gyan. Only and only Consumption( Chinese consumption is increasing like crazy. you can check the numbers because of the video processing e.g. Minimax H3 max, Seedance). 3. I like the point made by @AravSrinivas . You need to give the mechanism to also search, slide and dice the content on the whim. ( you may or may not know about this but Facebook launched Graph search in f8 conference where you could search "friends in SF/BLR" and it will give you those list of friends) So you gotta work on this. and its very easy to do the way Aravind mentioned. it has to be there. its like YT section but you can get the pointers what you actually want rather than the whole podcast/video. 4. and finally and MOST importantly, "care" ( figure founder's essential point). do you genuinely care on each of your user's critical path that you've placed in the product enough that they can come back again and again on your product VS where they already have their own network. because the fight is massive. the US folks already know your customers. 5. Rest of the things will be side-effects of learning and making the engagment more meaningful for the every new users. ( understand how TikTok gives the fresh account the visibility - the inherent promise - to each new one. That's the moat of their algorithm) these are the some of the points that I could think of and thought of sharing it with you. I feel that kick-starting the engine is not the problem with you. the basic network effect is sorted from your first circle. you can gather all the total userbase of the major podcasters. Give them a deal in equity, they all are your friends. The essential ideas and nuances are missing from the overall discussion in the video. and secondly, no one would want to fund this experiment in india anymore ( remember "Koo". But, You can see how a single core idea of discounts can build CashKaro, single idea of having almost getting "free-recharge" can get you biggest of the internet exit. Examples are many, you gotta sweep some of the best ideas from the history and understand the AI deep enough to see where the puck is going. rather than where it has been. You can't dethrone the incumbents completely. You gotta build your own fate line like ChakraPanini. Hope it helps. ( apologies if there is any typo or grammatical mistake )

you are your feed my insta feed is way more Intelligent and sane than my twitter feed. took 6 months of curation curating feed = curating your life so im asking once again, who wants to build onchain social with open/customisable algo?
when you meet someone, you can almost always tell which social media platform fine tuned their brain / thoughts. esp in nyc. e.g. most ppl likely now have an insta personality / aesthetic outlook (esp women), or a reddit personality (likely dudes), or maybe even an x personality (weirdos) to some extent. i guess chatgpt is likely the next personality influencer too. you are a product of your thoughts, & your thoughts are the product of your feed & of likely next the personal ai agent you let in to your life.

Prashant Kishor met the Chief Secretary of Bihar. If you don’t understand bureaucracy, just think of the Chief Secretary as basically the CEO of the entire state. The important part was not the Chief Secretary meeting. Within days of that meeting, he was able to bring the Chief Secretary, DGP, 5 Principal Secretaries and Patna Municipal Commissioner. multiple senior departmental officials into coordinated discussions, and then push toward follow-up execution. This is how the CM Office works. These kinds of meetings usually happen at the CM level. That’s unusual for a first-time MLA anywhere in the country. The question is: How does one MLA get this level of administrative access? Even ministers can sometimes wait weeks to get a meeting with the Chief Secretary. The reason is simple: Bureaucracy does not see PK as just another MLA. But in the minds of senior bureaucrats, Prashant Kishor is a former adviser to multiple Chief Ministers, the former No. 2 in JDU, a nationally connected political operator, and potentially an important future political power. They discussed education, traffic, drainage, water, food distribution, drugs, encroachment, and other Patna issues. The Chief Secretary agreed on follow-up departmental meetings and action plans. PK is also approaching it more like a management consultant or chief executive, bringing technical institutions and specialists to help the bureaucracy. He isn’t arriving with 50 individual complaints. He is proposing administrative architecture. Watch what happens over the next 3-6 months. The real test is whether he can actually push the bureaucracy to execute. Whether departments produce formal plans around his proposals, budgets and resources move, deadlines are assigned, and officials follow through.

First paid Hermes Strategy Session: done. 🪽 $99. 60 minutes. Real business. Real problems. I was nervous as hell going into it. Turned out to be one of the most useful conversations I’ve had about how companies are actually using AI agents today. Biggest takeaway: people don’t just need help installing agents. They need help figuring out what to automate, how to structure them, and how to actually get value from them. First client in the books. We’re doing this. 🔥
