NGOs can find it difficult to act as facilitators rather than leaders and initiators of programs 4 refugees. This may be rooted in the lack of willingness from NGO workers to confront disruptive feedback, disagreements with policy paradigms or to move beyond the status quo.

Today, we kicked off our two-day edit-athon in partnership with the @WikiUganda. We worked with our old editors and welcomed fresh teams to the #Wiki4Refugees family.
At Platform Africa, we strongly believe in open knowledge and sharing, and we believe that through this project, we empower refugees to have a voice in how they are represented while also making it easier to find reliable and up-to-date information about the refugee camps.
