This was the very first tweet that the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries said was "professional misconduct" and below it the explanation of the context that I gave to the Disciplinary Tribunal Panel
1. ‘Islam needs urgent reform (if possible?). The majority of its victims are Muslims who live under repressive, backward regimes. It still inspires far too much terrorism, child marriage, & hatred of Jews/gays. It is very sad that in 2020 it has barely changed for centuries.’
This was in response to a tweet from a person claiming to be a Muslim sharing a video of two children with their bare feet bound through metal bars being beaten on the soles of their feet, an extremely painful and dangerous practice known as bastinado and regarded as a form of torture. The individual stated that the person who taught him/her the Quran did the same to him/her when he/she was 5 years old. My tweet is an expression of opinion having seen that the Jewish population of many Islamic countries has reduced dramatically, and that homosexuality is punishable by death in many Islamic countries. My comment reflects (as demonstrated by the tweet I was responding to) that many Muslims suffer under poor human rights within Islamic countries.

Thankfully, free speech allows us to be offensive, provocative, even humorous!
Shame on the FOUR police officers who turned up to arrest a 15-year-old who called a Tory councillor a name.

To Jewish members of the party:
The motion proposers made clear in the debate that they have no intention for Jewish members to feel targeted for their beliefs or associations. If anyone does try to use it in this way, I will be there for you with my solidarity and support.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Conference rejected an amendment (684-1026) barring use of the motion to discipline members for Zionist synagogue affiliation. Party spokespeople say Jewish members will not be targeted for attending them.

The Met Police weren’t "powerless" when they banned a UKIP march from Tower Hamlets.
The Hampshire Constabulary wasn’t "powerless" when they placed a section.34 over Gosport.
British police have the power but don’t apply it consistently. That’s two-tier policing.

Lubna Speitan, the Green Party activist who co-sponsored the “Zionism is racism” motion and is a close friend of an al-Qaeda terrorist, called for synagogues to be “surrounded.”
That followed her demand that Zionists (Jews) be “hunted” worldwide.
This is incitement. Arrest her.

I have so many videos from that dreadful day, one more horrifying than the next. All of these beautiful girls and women were murdered by Palestinian militants. Honoring their memories and all of the innocent victims whose lives were taken by the monsters who call themselves Palestinians.

It’s midnight in Israel. As we mark the 3-year anniversary of October 7th, the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, I’ll focus for the next 24 hours on honoring the memory of the victims, the heroes, and the stories.
We must never forget October 7th, 2023. Never Again.

It is obscene to march on October 7th, a day for respect and silent remembering of some of the most barbarous crimes imaginable.
I am raging.

The day before Birmingham was named in the grooming gang national inquiry, Ayoub Khan MP, wrote to the the Inquiry demanding it focused on victims “rather than the identities of perpetrators.”
I would like to believe that these tactics will no longer work and the days of Pakistani politicians dictating us on the Pakistani Grooming Gangs are over.
These were racially motivated crimes, overwhelmingly committed by Pakistani men. Their victims were White and the abuse took place on an 'industrial scale' over decades. The truth, however ugly, must now be told and it is up to us to force the national inquiry to do its job.
I've spent 3 days writing this. Read it. Share it and help me get it in front of as many people as possible.

The National Inquiry is entering the phase that will decide where it goes, who it questions and what it is allowed to leave untouched. The people who covered this up for decades know that, and they are counting on the rest of us getting tired.
We are not tired. Red Wall and the Rabble is more than 15,000 strong. In the last three months alone more than 1,000 people have committed to a paid subscription, and 250,000 people have read one of my articles so far this year.
My name is Raja Miah MBE. For eight years I have exposed how politicians, police and public bodies failed working class White girls who were systematically raped by Pakistani grooming gangs. Together, with the support of the people of Oldham, we forced the Government to concede a National Statutory Inquiry after years of resistance.
No political party funds my work. No institution stands behind me. And no mainstream channel will amplify my work. Everything we have achieved so far has been possible because ordinary people stood alongside me.
I publish all of my work for free. There are no paywalls to access any of my work. Every person in these towns and cities to be able to read it. The people who support me give me the independence and the resources to keep going, keep applying pressure and keep forcing these places onto the agenda.

I think it’s a disgrace that last night UNDOCUMENTED foreign nationals were allowed into Gosport and given police protection and escort YET at the very same time the police were checking the ID of local residents to let them go down their own roads to go home.
Does nobody see how absolutely bonkers that is?!
Last night you had more rights and less checks if you arrived in Gosport illegally via a boat than if you lived in town itself. Someone make it make sense.

🛑Former Hamas hostage Avinatan Or recounts what one of his Hamas captors told him just before his release:
“Go home. Say hello to your father, to your mother. Meet your friends. Then pack a bag and go to Europe. You know why? Because we’re going to do October 7 again. As long as there is one Jew in the Land of Israel, we will massacre you again and again and again.”
Avinatan looked at him and answered:
“I’m not leaving.”
Three years after October 7, listen carefully to those words. This is what Hamas told an Israeli hostage after more than two years in captivity.
And Avinatan’s answer says everything:
This is our home. We are not leaving

Fair play to Anne Hegerty from the Chase game show. Someone had to say it.
The Greens have just voted that Zionism is racism, then told Jewish members not to take it personally. She answered Carla Denyer in one line:
“Tell you what. Get your Muslim members to promise they will never attend a mosque that criticises homosexuality. Then we’ll talk.”
That’s it. That’s the double standard, said out loud. One lot get told their faith is a problem. The other lot don’t even get asked. Glad a public figure still has the nerve to speak out for what is right.
Well Done Ann 👏👏👏

It is becoming apparent that if authorities had arrested Joshua Kerry, after an incendiary device was pushed through Nigel Farage's letterbox, Ann Widdicombe would most probably be alive today.
A photo, alleged to be of Kerry pushing the device, which exploded in the Reform leader's porch, is thought to be behind this week's charge against him, of preparing acts of Terorrism against Farage.
It's always too little, too late.

The Evidence Wasn't Deleted. So Publish It
For months, the government's answer to who shaped its new definition of anti-Muslim hostility was simple: the evidence was gone. It never was.
Will Garton, director general at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, has confirmed in writing that more extensive searches, including technical work by departmental IT specialists, found that "the underlying Call for Evidence response dataset is still held on Departmental systems." Nick Timothy was first told the material wasn't held. He kept pushing. The department eventually discovered that it was.
This isn't some incidental pile of correspondence. The government's own published account calls the working group's evidence gathering "significant" and says the Call for Evidence "forms the basis of the definition that the government is now adopting." If this evidence underpins a definition ministers want organisations across Britain to use, the public has an obvious interest in knowing who submitted it and how it shaped the outcome, personal data protected where the law requires.
Questions about the process predate the dataset reappearing. Rayner appointed Dominic Grieve to chair the supposedly independent group despite Grieve having written the foreword to the 2018 APPG report proposing the earlier Islamophobia definition. Akeela Ahmed, a panel member, had publicly championed that same definition. Harder to find among the five members is any voice for the free-speech or secularist case. Sir John Jenkins, a former ambassador the group approached, refused to take part, believing its direction already appeared predetermined.
There's also a question ministers haven't properly answered. In June, James Cleverly asked specifically whether MEND, CAGE, the Muslim Association of Britain or the Muslim Council of Britain had submitted written evidence. The government replied that the consultation was open to everyone, that the department hadn't engaged with those groups, and that the working group hadn't met them. Cleverly hadn't asked who they'd met. He asked who had submitted evidence.
That distinction matters. An organisation doesn't need to sit across a table from Grieve to shape an open consultation. It only needs to send a submission. That alone doesn't prove the process was captured, even though it might look that way. It does mean transparency matters more, not less, and the records now survive to provide it. Publish the submissions, redact what the law requires, and let the public see who tried to shape this definition.
The deeper problem goes beyond Islamophobia. A department built national policy on what it calls a substantial evidence exercise. When an opposition MP sought the material, officials said it wasn't held. Only further pressure and a forensic search found it was. Garton's letter says ministers weren't involved in handling or retention decisions, so there's no evidence yet that ministers ordered anything concealed. There's every reason to ask how an official FOI process missed evidence important enough to justify government policy.
The government can no longer claim disclosure is impossible because the evidence vanished. Its own director general confirms it survives. If the process was as rigorous as ministers maintain, publishing it should only prove that. If it wasn't, the public deserves to know that too.
The question was never really where the evidence went. It's why, now the government admits it still has it, the country still isn't allowed to see it.
"Rayner appointed Dominic Grieve to chair the supposedly independent group despite Grieve having written the foreword to the 2018 APPG report proposing the earlier Islamophobia definition."
