Here is the link to my first NFT collection!
I've been practicing Jiu-Jitsu (and Judo and Wrestling) for 14 years and have been making art about the pursuit for nearly as long. I'm extremely excited to share the work here and talk about why I make it!

ADCC 2022 was the absolute best. I’m so happy to be alive at this time to see these incredible athletes. What a weekend!
A good friend sent me this amazing print. Apparently it was on a magazine cover. Nothing beats old art of wrestlers. Now to figure out who the artist was!

This is bogus 👎 a photographer @withhearts with 60k+ followers is ripping off my friend @phunk3447 's artwork without his permission and trying to launch the same project with the same art
Meme project or not @phunk3447 's been drawing these for weeks and DM'ing me his progress
You're a liar, his art is on the left, "Yours" is on the right and it's pixel by pixel identical except for the hat you added,...
You should be ashamed of yourself @withhearts BOOO!!! STINK 👎💩💩💩💩🤡🤡🤡
You just created the account 8 hours ago with stolen art

Wiiides inspiring more generative art cryptopunk projects ❤️↔️ starting a revolution
TY! @wiiides was a huge inspiration! Pre-wiiides it would be called something dorky like "CryptoSquares" 🤮
Cool idea! Could upgrade the mapping to store color => punk-square v. just punk. Maybe I'll try it! Jk not spending another sec on this concept—my life is already ruined!

A wonderful essay by @dis on @ourZORA listing Wiiides as one of the best NFT projects ↔️🙏

Sundial from last year, an existential compass, a cloud of ideas you can use to find your way or map a territory. It's futuristic and fast, with all the carbon fiber race car parts like front splitters and rear diffusers, but also ancient and immobile.

ADCC is releasing a collectible card game at the event. I think this is a fun idea. I love collectible cards.

One really amazing thing NFTs have done, that goes overlooked, is how artists from all mediums and genres have come into the same circle
It did _not_ used to be this way two years ago. People really tended to be tight knit in their medium and genre
The walls have been torn down
I think BJJ athletes mostly post motivational content. But uh, what about those loses that were downright embarrassing? Or the back to back defeats that make question why you bother training? Maybe the world champs don’t have those often, but I think most of the rest of us have.
