“liberal” northerners when you kindly explain how they might be contributing to the south’s struggles
i’m so unbelievably upset that florida has to endure four more years of a republican government. why do us florida natives continually get punished by northerners who keep outnumbering us in our own home? they’re voting to destroy a state they could never love the way we do.

I don’t believe Democrats will ever advance policy that meaningfully challenges our corporate duopoly but it is very fun to see republicans cry

Election Prediction: Democrats will definitely take the House and most likely the Senate too, but nothing will fundamentally change for the people. Corporations, billionaires, Israel, and the military-industrial complex will win yet another U.S. election because they own and control both parties that the public is conditioned to vote for. There is no real democracy under capitalism because all elections do is put a different face on the same barbaric system that wages imperialist wars and exploits workers to enrich the billionaire class. We need a revolution! As powerful and inescapable as capitalism feels, it has no power without the people and the workers who make it run. Once the people figure this out en masse, the world is ours to collectively share together.

For those of us who live under the bombs, American elections are hardly the political spectacle we are expected to celebrate. We couldn't give two hoots about which party wins an election in a system that has perfected the art of manufacturing the illusion of choice while keeping the machinery of imperialism firmly intact. Choosing between two horse manures with the same smell is not democracy. And expecting us to applaud because one smells marginally less offensive is frankly insulting. The people casting ballots are told they are deciding their country's future, while the machinery that determines whose lives are expendable, whose countries get bombed, whose land gets occupied and whose suffering gets funded by American taxpayers operates well beyond their reach. And spare us the excitement over the Democrats. Was Obama not bombing weddings in Yemen? Did Biden not arm and shield the genocide in Gaza while Israel carried out its ethnic cleansing campaign in Lebanon? Apparently, we are supposed to develop selective amnesia every four years, pick our favourite shade of American imperialism and celebrate when the supposedly lesser evil wins. Forgive us if we aren't emotionally invested. When your foreign policy is someone's funeral, your democracy is someone else's nightmare. We are for sure not obliged to celebrate the electoral choices of an empire that keeps choosing us as its targets. طوشتونا عاد.

Personally, I don't care about the results of the American elections because I know very well that Trump's America is Biden's America, which is Obama's America, which is George Bush's America, and Republican America is Democratic America, and nothing will change. America needs a popular revolution to liberate it from the Zionist lobby's domination. As for the American elections, they are more like a play performed every four years, and only fools believe it.

I feel so bad for Floridians. Not the boomer/silent gen transplants, the people born and raised there. Florida has a huge queer and POC population, much like Texas, and I already see people shitting on Florida voters like the right-wing vote isn't inflated by the old people
