Life choices. My start to the day in grey and gloomy Ealing and my daughter’s start to the day in Sydney. I know where I’d prefer to be right now!! 🇬🇧🇦🇺
Longest run in a while and not the best training with a dody Achilles over the last couple of weeks. But really enjoyed that one! @Vitality_UK 10K in London. Great route and so well managed
At lunch just now I confidently ordered “honey-cum” ice cream instead of honeycomb! The waitress’s face was a picture! 🤣🤣

I’ve counted more than 40 articles from one national newspaper on Arday proper to his death - yes it was right to scrutinise a public interest issue - but the sheer volume is without a doubt disproportionate.
There have been accusations of plagiarism among academics before - why did Arday’s case in particular warrant this extreme level of coverage?
The answer is pretty obvious.

Words matter. Headlines hurt. This is a tragedy created by pernicious media.Questions about Arday’s qualifications and early life should never have been front page news and top of every news bulletin. Accountability must follow. My sympathies to his family theguardian.com/uk-news/2026…
Parkrun 170 for me, first time at Battersea. Very, very busy, but great course. And very happy with my 25:45 time. Happy Saturday! 🙌😘♥️🏃
Urgh, well that was the works sleep! I literally sweated, tossed and turned all night! 🥵💦
Happy Friday all! 🙏🙌
