I have a big-girl investment decision that I'm going to make in 12 months. Tweeting this so that I can come back to it and quote: "I DID IT"...

This started with media houses taking money from politicians and putting them on a pedestal at the expense of journalism. Journalists picked the habit of only fronting those who pay up first. Now it is normal in media circles. Pay and get featured.
" You cannot go around receiving money from politicians – money we know is dirty – to host events and then call yourself a journalist," – Award-winning investigative journalist John Allan Namu takes issue with podcasters whose fame, he says, has gone to their heads, as they lecture Kenyans while allegedly receiving money from politicians left, right and centre!

I started understanding my body and stopped dieting/starving myself in the name of losing weight. I took up strength training and eating 3 solid meals and the weight just started dropping.

Please tell your presidential candidates (and hopefuls) to start making their public addresses in Kiswahili... So many gems are lost in too much English. (this tweet has a TA)...

The dead cat strategy: When the public starts to question governance, politicians introduce a distraction like exaggerated development stories, scandals etc (the dead cat). This causes confusion, the public forgets about the real issues and anger is redirected/forgotten.

Ok. Women, why are we not applying for such positions??? The number of men vs women is starkly vast...

We live in a country where, 7 days later, people remain buried in a building that collapsed because the necessary oversight authorities failed to do their job. Wild.

I disagree. The only way to empower women is for women to have money. Principles, beliefs, tabias etc are just add ons...
Having money is not the only way to empower yourself as a woman. Have principles and beliefs you standby. Be disciplined. Be a talk and do woman. You can be struggling and still stand your ground ASF. Be wise.

Karen Nyamu: I recently tried to help a very staunch campaigner of mine join the police force. Tukakarabati (we forged) a form 4 certificate. She went to Kiganjo for training, but after investigations, she was arrested for forgery alongside 17 others. #ThePeoplesBreakfast #HomeOfHardTruths @ctmuga & @mungalambuvi

IEBC should be the first stakeholder to run to court. Because this Bill clearly puts them at a catch 22 situation.
Kenyan MPs have officially approved a bill removing the legal requirement for the IEBC to livestream results as they are announced at polling stations. The move has raised concerns about transparency ahead of the 2027 General Election

Siku hizi I work with engineers and they are not happy. The engineering in this country has been left to contractors and tenderprenuers. Hakuna oversight.

I really love that Kenyans are embracing walking and fitness in general. Those walking challenges are my fave videos to watch on TikTok. But is the government paying attention and putting in place pedestrian walkways????

Just take a wild guess who are the sponsors of this Bill in both legislative houses...
