Focus on GL series ~ series ended ~find another GL series to watch & enjoy ~ rinse & repeat as many times as you want. You don't have to support the artists excessively to the point you're giving them money. Then there will be no parasocialism creeping in. Make it makes sense 😒

At what age kau sedar bahwa picky eater ni sebenarnya a sign of priviledge? (Betul ke grammar aku ni? 😂) The fact that kau boleh pilih untuk tak makan benda yang terhidang tu kan, be it keluarga sendiri atau orang lain yang sediakan. 🤔

i can’t stop thinking about PEAKTOXIN. there’s so many details that i love: - each toxxxxin girl is distinct from one another based on appearance alone: aidao has bangs and half-tied hair, gale has full bangs, a hime cut, and a leather jacket, chelsea has glasses, a blue cardigan, and her hair down, while meimei wears her hair up with no bangs. the character design is peak!! - chelsea uses her cardigan to dry junjai off! - in the swimming pool scene, even when certain elements of their appearance were removed (e.g., gale’s leather jacket or aidao’s tied-up hair), you can still tell them apart. they tend to frame gale with a device (tablet or phone), fitting her "cyberstalker" role + aidao’s camera angles were usually close-ups compared to gale’s - the blocking is really interesting because chelsea and meimei are almost always mirroring each other or positioned side-by-side, while gale is usually set apart or in a distinct position. wearing the leather jacket makes her stand out even more, which makes me think it might be foreshadowing for future episodes - i love how they filmed from outside the room to make it look like we’re peeking through the covered door window, emphasizing the private nature of the toxxxxin gang TOXXXXXIN LOVE TO MEET YOU #OxytoxinSeriesEP1

In Thai, the word "thum" (ทุ่ม), which is used to tell time in the evening and at night, originates from the sound of drums being beaten at night. In ancient Thailand, before clocks became widely available, government officials or the royal palace would use musical instruments to signal the time to the public. The day was divided into two main periods: 🌝 Daytime (7:00 AM – 6:00 PM): A gong was struck to announce the time. The sound of the gong (ฆ้อง) was described as "mong... mong..." (โมง), which is why the word "mong" became part of the Thai system of telling time during the day. 🌛 Nighttime (7:00 PM – 12:00 AM): Drums were beaten to announce the time. The deep, low sound of the drum was described as "thum... thum..." (ทุ่ม). The word is also associated with the action of striking the drum with a drumstick. This is why "thum" became the term used for evening and nighttime hours. However, there is one interesting exception! At midnight (12:00 AM), we don't say "hok thum" (หกทุ่ม), which would literally mean "six thum." Instead, we say "thiang khuen" (เที่ยงคืน), which means "midnight." 🌤️ Early Morning (1:00 AM – 5:00 AM): In traditional Thai timekeeping, the hours after midnight are expressed using the word "tee" (ตี), which literally means "to strike" or "to beat." The term comes from the traditional practice of striking a drum to announce the hours during the early morning. For example: 1:00 AM = Tee nueng (ตีหนึ่ง) 2:00 AM = Tee song (ตีสอง) 3:00 AM = Tee sam (ตีสาม) 4:00 AM = Tee see (ตีสี่) 5:00 AM = Tee ha (ตีห้า) At 6:00 AM, we say "hok mong chao" (หกโมงเช้า), marking the beginning of the daytime timekeeping system. So, the traditional Thai way of telling time is closely connected to the sounds of gongs and drums, reflecting how people measured time long before modern clocks became common. This is one of the fascinating ways in which Thai language, history, and traditional timekeeping are connected.

Can I ask why does it start at 7pm and not 6pm for evening time?

The first ep is good. It is quite a foreign concept to me but I love it. It is a mix of everything and I love how the vibes matched the one in pilot trailer. 10 ep of their weirdness. Sign me up!
Damn but the official trailer curse is real. Why is the pilot trailer looked way more interesting than the official ones? Glad it is on Netflix. Hope the story is way more interesting because lately gmmtv gl is nothing but a major disappointment 😒

The reason why Thai QL is so popular is because it creates a queer utopia. Where being queer is acceptable to the point you won't be hate crimed when you enter a common space & ask someone out. And we deserve stories like that.
"BL is for entertainment not real queer representation" so according to you queer people doesn't deserve entertainment and romance? They only deserve stories where they are struggling without any happy ending?

Atom wrote, "2 ทุ่ม" (song thum), which means 8:00 PM, not 2:00 PM. In Thailand, we have a unique way of telling time. We use the word "ทุ่ม" (thum) for evening hours, starting at 7:00 PM. Here's how it works: 1 ทุ่ม (nueng thum) = 7:00 PM 2 ทุ่ม (song thum) = 8:00 PM 3 ทุ่ม (sam thum) = 9:00 PM 4 ทุ่ม (si thum) = 10:00 PM 5 ทุ่ม (ha thum) = 11:00 PM So, when Atom says "2 ทุ่ม", she means 8:00 PM. This is part of the traditional Thai time-telling system, which is still widely used in everyday conversations in Thailand. #AtomPariya
I think it’s 8pm. I learned something new recently that Thailand traditionally uses a six hour clock system in everyday speech. So Atom saying 2pm here means 8pm. @juth is this correct ?

ppl are eating op up but there's nothing wrong with asking more /what u want. op wanted something *focused* on social issues yes gmm has multiple attempts to to incorporate a social issues thats good but ultimately the delivery mostly falls flat & just lots of virtue signaling
enough time has passed and I finally can say that I'm a bit disappointed with the gl side.. gmmtv has been producing gls since 2023 and we haven't seen one focused on social issues, mature topics and the struggles queer women have to endure because of misogyny and homophobia
