I didn't think this would get overlooked in gameplay patch, especially considering they literally said they buffed rise up, but it needs to be looked at again lol. Alot going on with finishing in general that needs to just straight up be overhauled all over from scratch.

This was said to me over and over when I pushed back. I understand he wasn’t going to be the number 2 here and maybe he was BECAUSE MARK ANDREWS is still 2nd in targets on this team.
He’s not a blocker, but a smart FO understands their players strengths and weaknesses. So they could’ve drafted a blocking TE and instead of giving 89 any sort of extension.
I don’t care how many times he turned down the extension then just pivot to the other TE (Kolar and again Mr Build Through The Draft). Don’t offer the perennial playoff dropper an extension at all… I was against it then and still against it now.
It’s really that simple because the TE you paid isn’t playing like a TE1 in any capacity. He’s impacting the game negatively at every level (penalties, drops, average blocker).
