Noticed that the bus driver pulled in to my stop a little more gracefully than the previous stops, maybe I don’t get off here, let’s keep going, drive until we run out of gas. Oh who am I kidding, it would never work! I hate you! [moves to leave, the closing doors crush my skull]

Q: China is one of the most repressive countries for journalists in the world--
TRUMP: Well, I don't know about that. I think we're repressive also

You will no doubt be amazed to learn that the answer was mostly suppressive artillery fire. Like it has been for going on 150 years now.

Sex toys didn’t start becoming sexual until the 2010s actually, they were actually meant to just be cute little accessories to wear around the house!

Every so often I see a wildly out of pocket tweet from some weirdo I've never heard of, and when I try and figure out what their deal is the answer is always just 'transphobe'

BREAKING: For the first time since the Iran war began, JPMorgan says it no longer has a baseline view on oil, writing "we simply don't know how to model the endgame," and that the assumption that the Middle East disruptions are temporary is "becoming increasingly difficult to sustain," per JPMorgan Global Research.
The bank says it had assumed there were economic red lines the Trump administration would be unwilling to cross, and that six months later "many of those lines have been crossed, yet the exit strategy is less clear, not more."
Chevron's CEO said this week the Great fuel crisis has officially arrived, as Trump officials continue to claim the disruption temporary.

One conclusion I reached while reporting on the Greenland crisis from Nuuk and Copenhagen for @VanityFair is something Trump's big new deal illustrates plainly—all the threats and damage done to alliances was to gain privileges we already had there. vanityfair.com/story/trumps-…

You know that feeling when a middling footballer you haven't thought about for five years signs for West Ham, and they were such a spiritually 'West Ham' player that you were kinda surprised they weren't already at West Ham
After six wonderful years at UK Music, I'm joining Palantir UK as Senior Vice President.
Palantir is the most interesting company on the planet, doing work of real consequence: helping Britain and its allies defend themselves, helping police protect our citizens and helping NHS staff get patients treated and home sooner.
London is comfortably its largest centre outside the US, home to more than one in six employees, the highest proportion among the world's largest technology companies.
We have challenges. Some criticism is propaganda. Some raises legitimate questions about large technology companies and sovereign control. Both require answers.
Part of my role will be to correct false information while working with our engineers to ensure privacy, security and respect for sovereignty are at the heart of everything we do.
