Can stolen crypto be recovered? Here's the honest answer. Nobody can undo a crypto payment. Once it's confirmed on the blockchain there's no "reverse" button, and anyone who promises to get your money back for a fee is setting up a second theft. That doesn't mean there's nothing you can do: 1. Report it. Tell your bank and the exchange you sent from, and report it to Report Fraud (it replaced Action Fraud). In Scotland, report it to Police Scotland. 2. Keep the evidence: wallet addresses, transaction hashes, dates, amounts, the website or app name, and screenshots of every message. 3. Understand where the money went. Blockchain records are public, so it's often possible to see where funds appear to have moved, for example to an exchange. That can help the organisations that do have the power to act. 4. Don't pay anyone who contacts you offering recovery. Freezing or returning funds depends on exchanges, banks, police and courts, not paid "recovery agents". Did it happen months ago?
