Twenty-four characters. That's OpenAI's recommended max for a ChatGPT ad title, and 48 for the description.
Before it runs, show your client the ad itself, not a spreadsheet. In PPC Ad Editor, build it as a ChatGPT chat card with the title, description, link and image. Your client opens one link in a browser, no account needed, and approves it. Then you export the workbook for their ChatGPT Ads account.
Which is hardest to fit in 24 characters: the product, the benefit, or the brand?

The mockup appears in the chat, checked against Google's limits.
ChatGPT ads switch on creative enhancements by default tomorrow, Oct 30. That covers headlines and destination URLs, and nobody approves each version. If you opt out at the account level, check campaign settings too. Those take priority over the account default.
client ads can change by default this week:
wed: meta adds product browsing to live ads
fri: chatgpt ads creative enhancements go on, no per-version approval
now: google ai review summaries in search ads, no edits
clinics, law firms: get sign-off on meta and chatgpt by wed
