Replying to @NexaMoney
@NexaMoney ‘s own hardware expert and chief scientist has got a challenge open to anyone:
He’s confident that his FPGAs can outperform the best GPUs on a dollar-cost basis by 100x - and he’s got BTC bounties to back it up!
Miners should have their eyes on nexacoin:native 👀🚀
My little $40 FPGA can beat your big bad GPU. Prove me wrong and win 0.1 BTC.
I designed a proof-of-work called BRAM-ring. A $40 Efinix Tz170 does 37,100 H/s on it. The best anyone has managed on a GPU is 1,493 H/s, on a $499 RTX 3070. Per dollar the little chip wins by more than 100×, and I don't think any GPU, CPU, NPU or other off-the-shelf hardware can close that gap.
The bounty:
• 0.1 BTC to the first person who shows non-FPGA hardware at or above 371 H/s per dollar
• 0.01 BTC every time someone beats my GPU or CPU kernel by 10% (bit-exact, measured on my machine, the bar ratchets)
• 0.01 BTC for a real shortcut in the function: half the work per hash, counted not timed
How to claim: reply to this tweet with the full 40-character git commit hash of your code and the prize you're claiming. Your code can stay private until the deadline; the hash fixes your place in line.
Deadline: 4 November 2026, 23:59 Pacific.
Rules: git.nodelabs.ca/nexapow/bram…
Code (make prove checks C, AVX2, CUDA and Verilog against the same 8 vectors): git.nodelabs.ca/nexapow/bram…
Prize pool 0.2 BTC, held at bc1qtk8q5nsupm47kg5vz9turqacx8lg2whvxukpuj. Signed proof of funds in the first reply and in BOUNTY.md.

📒 Nexa Programming Language (NPL): Smart Contracts in Kotlin
Nexa Programming Language (NPL) is a domain-specific language and compiler for writing Nexa smart contracts. Each smart contract includes rules that decide how coins can be spent. NPL lets developers write smart contracts in Kotlin, and the compiler converts them into scripts that can run on the Nexa network.
@kotlin is a multiplatform language that lets you run a single codebase across multiple platforms and operating systems. It is also the preferred programming language of giants such as @Google for developing applications on @Android.
A single programming language that works across platforms benefits developers and users. We are excited to introduce NPL as the preferred language for writing smart contracts on Nexa.

Time for updates!
The start of Q4 is no time to sleep on nexacoin:native - blink, and you might miss one of the many updates, dev checkpoints, or major tech improvements that are about take off. 🚀🚀
@NexaMoney team is building every day, and this is the home stretch of 2026!
📒 Nexa Monthly Newsletter September 2026: Ahead of the Storm
September was a very active month, with many significant developments across the ecosystem. It started with the release of Nexa Full-Node 2.2.0.0, a major core protocol release that included preparatory work for Tailstorm.
Equally significant was the release of AI skills with the Starter App, which provides pre-wired Nexa infrastructure with wallet integration, ready for building decentralized applications on top of it. Huge appreciation goes to David Thibodeau (@DPTib) for all the hard work and the presentation.
Along with the AI skills, the team also released an updated Build On Nexa (BON) program website that includes AI-assisted development, all the libraries, and other developer tools essential for blockchain development.
We have also been recapping and reintroducing the work being done on hardware acceleration and Blitz. This work involves heavy development and wiring the silicon for digital signature verification. Most of the hard work is already done and tested, and we are moving into the next phases.

Have you tried @NexaMoney Ai skills ? All you need is an idea and an Ai agent of your choice to make a fully functional application that will work perfectly 🤝

A quick demonstration of how to build an app with a Claude agent and AI-assisted development. On top of Nexa AI skills and the Starter App, it takes only a single prompt to get a fully functioning application.
One block, many winners.
With Tailstorm (Nexa Hard Fork 2), each block is built from many subblocks and the reward is split across their miners: steadier payouts for small miners, less pull toward big centralized mining pools.

When you’re busy with your own part of Nexa, it’s easy to lose track of how much everyone else is building. These monthly updates put it into perspective. September was a busy one. 👇

Tailstorm, Nexa's coming upgrade, splits proof-of-work into fast parallel subblocks that merge into one summary block. Payments confirm in seconds, miners share the reward, and work isn't wasted. Here's what changes for developers.

500M Nexa donations for Nexa Signal now 🔥💛 This is amazing. Our goal is 1B to start our campaign.
With this, we can boost content creators by rewarding them. For example: sharing a clip of a dapp you created with Nexa AI, an explanation about Nexa on YouTube, or easily minting your most valuable photos, music, and video clips as NFTs on NiftyArt, and more!
I didn’t expect so much support!
Keep donating 🔥

Most chains keep one block and throw away the rest. Nexa's Tailstorm keeps almost all of them: parallel subblocks merge into a DAG, and a summary block closes it.
Watch it live: 4 miners with a simulated 1 s delay on a stormtest chain (demo, not mainnet) 👇
