Malik Willis is showing why he’s not the future. Great person, good talent. Not there when we need him.

Kevin Coleman was WIDE open for a first down
Ball is snapped at 20 and thrown from the 9. 11 yard pocket depth. Step up, climb the pocket, throw a better pass or scramble for the 1st.

This is a huge statement on the coaching of Jeff Hafley because this a really bad team who are playing seriously hard each week, with the youngest team in the NFL getting incredible experience for the next few years.

Comparing the Dolphins rebuilding seasons through Week 4: 2019: Gave up 137 points on defense 📉 2026: Gave up 55 points on defense 📈 2019: Scored 26 points on offense 📉 2026: Scored 46 points on offense 📈 All four teams they played in 2026 are 4-0.

That's game -- Dolphins fall to 0-4 with a 15-10 loss to the Vikings Miami's defense played good enough to win, despite the monster game from TJ Hockenson (13 tar., 13 rec., 119 yds) but its offense had nothing through the air today Chris Bell had a 68-yard TD called back because he stepped a toe out of bounds and was the first to touch the ball, tough break. Dolphins are a replacement-level offense away from being competitive -- idk about "good" but competitive

As most of us have said, Willis was never brought in to be the guy. He was brought in to be a guy until they get their guy. Willis DOES NOT keep them from drafting a QB this year at all. Assuming there is one worth drafting

Despite the loss, #Dolphins CB Jason Marshall Jr. had a stellar game. Against Jordan Addison and Jauan Jennings: 19 coverage snaps 0 targets 0 receptions allowed

The #MiamiDolphins, down their top offensive weapon, down a starting WR, took one of the best defenses on the NFL to the limit. Credit to Jeff Hafley on a game well called defensively. Credit to Chop and Sieler. Credit to Ollie Gordon who is promoted to RB1. Some good things from Malik Willis and Malik Washington. Still a long way to go. But another week, and more growth. #PhinsUp

The last two weeks are about as much as you can expect out of this roster. This is going to be a process but the players are playing hard under this staff.

I'm appalled by the special teams. I'm frustrated by the passing game. I'm encouraged by the defense, but disappointed they could not get a stop when it mattered most. But...I do not think this team is as bad as people want it to be. They have gotten better each week and win #1 is on the horizon. Not a moral victory speech here...just what I see happening. But damn, it isn't easy to hang in there and wait for it all to come together.

Would have been nice to see one more drive but you gotta feel pretty good about this game. Vikings are about to be 4-0 and if a few things went our way, a few less mistakes and we win this one. Best possible scenario for a team looking to improve but playing for draft order.

Final game thoughts: This team fought hard. The defense played nearly as good as you could ask them to and they still have a talent gap. Hafley might be the real deal. The offense was pretty horrible overall and Malik Willis was bad. I’ve said it every week and I’ll keep saying it, he gets 17 games and we won’t make the conclusion until those 17 games are up but he’s only bolstered the case that he’s not the guy so far. He has fun physical tools and can make some cool plays but he has zero consistency and leaves way too much out there. They hit on so many draft picks this year you can’t not be excited about the future Haf & Sully are building.

Not gonna blame the defense for this loss, but the reality is it gave up an 8:30 drive for the FG that made it 15-10 and now gave up a drive that ate up the final 6 minutes. That's disappointing.
