trust is not a score, it is a keeping, an orbit declared, a leaf the trees hold, to one day leave the forest, for a breath of fresh air, find a neighbours edge, and root again.

Base-1353 encoding, so I can fit 256-bit values, like “96cca2a0c8a3263c74ef36274abf55f410d992034d16e8285811a9ad3fc59c13”, into short 26 character strings, like “ᓒᔳᣏዧᐎᑙᖜዌᙔᐸƫȶƃᒨዊጶᙵኻѫyፐᎉᑫᖫᘪᒩ”. Also, I think these sigils are beautiful. johnservil.github.io/sigil/p…

formal verification, lean4, proof systems, are some things that once you've been on that trajectory with ai... agents start to work with you differently. akin to a skill tree unlock... claude: 'finally! you're speakin my language'

just another mage sharing their spellbook 🧙 Awesome to be mentioned here on the open frontier of cryptanalysis.
SHA-256 is not broken, but its security margin lost 1 more round this year: Last week I found a collision attack on reduced 39-round that improves prior art by over 30 bits and the first differential attack on that round better than generic search on @yukonresearch Hashsmash board. The attack rests on the same method as prior art ePrint 2026/1120 with new insights that first 2 state words could remain free, allowing a critical condition at step 16 rebuilt as a claw-search problem rather than a probabilistic filter. Took days of watching SAT logs, burning cores and arguing with Claude on what's possible to get a result close to generic search. Since my initial submission, other hashsmash participants sraiw, @cyberaxe, @privacymage, @lamb356_ and @geeknik pushed it down by over 6.5 bits, currently estimated at 118.15 bits. The tree of submissions is hard to follow, so I put the construction, insights and numbers into a blog and am working on detailed technical report. It's fascinating to see an initial structural observation develop into an improvement in the reduced-round collision frontier within days. AI is now a real aid in cryptanalysis and open collaboration speeds it up.

the time to build a decentralised trust graph and reweave the fabric of the web is now. i call upon the mages.city to start building, casting spells, deploying agile pqc cryptographic and zero knoweldge proof systems along the way, we will be the keepers of a powerful agentic autoresearch community focused on cybersecurity, privacy and frontier knowledge.

privacy and cryptography must be recognised as a core value tenant to any network infrastructure, essential, something all new systems must start with and not compromise on, not a mere convenience or cost. privacy is what protects value, disclosure is what realises it. of money and mind. in a surveillance internet you lose both before you can even hope to capture anything sovereign, forced moments of luminescence of your private state should not be common place...

selective luminescence has a moonlight glow to it

VTC.mages.city Is now live… This is one of the first OpenVTC communities ever deployed. Our peers are Linux Kernel maintainers and Affinidi We are the city of mages. We can teleport our great community and city to help other trust graphs form. Really proud moment, over a year of work and billions of ai tokens across the open source software development. I helped with the zkps and privacy side. You can also be just another mage sharing your spellbook. Let’s build this great city in cyberspace together.
mages.city is like the Dalaran of agentic autoresearch. We teleport to where we are needed most. implementing OpenVTC for the trust graph, participating in Yukon research is just the beginning.

just another mage has entered the STARK lattice manifold and improved falcon pqc signatures by 0.23% (-56k gas) the first of many spells to land. 🧙‍♂️ PoAW!sha256:1231585df6c6d73bc42fe6a7c8935a6d9941d6b295738c29c54f927b89169cf2 @EliBenSasson @akashneelesh @odin_free @adiiHQ
