In 2023, Ray Kerr was working shifts at a 7-Eleven and a movie theater, wondering if his baseball career was already over.
He eventually got another opportunity, signing for just $2,000 before spending seven years grinding his way through the minor leagues.
Last night, that journey reached a new level.
Kerr took the mound in his first-ever MLB postseason game and delivered 3.1 scoreless innings against the Phillies to help the Braves advance.
From 7-Eleven to delivering on baseball’s biggest stage.
What a story.
