Again, as always, the paradox: President Trump is both the mighty man who has seized the reins and also not in charge of anything. His genius cannot fail, but he can be outwitted by the saboteurs he chose to serve him.
Pick one.
People who relentlessly sucked up to Tucker, trying to get on his show, and played footsie with Posobiec, the Schlapps, etc throughout Trump I, have smoothly transitioned to the vanguard of the opposition.
Others who had their eyes open could see how gross they were then and didn't wait for it to be politically convenient to finally say so.
Lots of people on the right are refusing to take any responsibility for the monster they helped create. They're pointing the finger at Tucker, Candace, Fuentes, and all the other usual suspects. I hate to tell you guys but basically no one voted yesterday to reject those objectionable assholes. They're not the ones running the country. They're not in positions of real power.
A political earthquake, such as the one we just witnessed, is the result of people rejecting a historically corrupt administration and the political party which enabled it.

Watching these Experts explain the importance of targeted tariffs (when they were extolling Navarro's genius a few weeks ago) is really something. Thanks, we already said this.

If the remaining results go as expected, Democrats will hold governorships in states totaling 392 electoral votes.

Nvidia is now requiring data centers to not sell more than 49% of their compute to Chinese customers. But in what world is selling 49% of the world's most valuable resource to China a "win" for America? The number should be 0%; if Chinese firms can't buy a chip due to export controls they also shouldn't be permitted to rent access to it.
The fact that this remote access loophole exists--and that Nvidia even felt compelled to announce this new policy because it undoubtedly has so many customers currently renting 100% of their compute to China--just shows how badly export controls are being mismanaged.

Doral, the municipality with the highest % of Venezuelans in South Florida, voted for Democrat Angie Nixon. 2 years ago it voted for Trump by 23 points (map from VoteHub).
People have repeatedly proclaimed "He's not ideological!" when the accurate assessment is "He has no principles."

If you are watching this and just have a passing familiarity with elections, just understand you're seeing something special, a 100-year flood. Easily the worst election for a party since 1974.

This isn't a tsunami or anything like that. This is a complete collapse of the Republican coalition.
It isn't ALL about Iran but it IS funny to see people who went along with the tariffs in both Trump I (he's the general and we're the foot soldiers!) and Trump II (we must trust him, move to Vietnam!) acting like they opposed it all along.
I was a fellow on this Committee. This is what letters from the Committee to witnesses (including targets) say:
"The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is the principal oversight committee of the U.S. House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate 'any matter' at 'any time' under House Rule X."
"Any." 🍿🍿🍿🍿
Good times thinking about people from Indiana telling me how the tariffs and redistricting were Donald Trump really taking the pulse of the American people
