With the final visual arts launch of 2026 under our belts, take a look back at the opening of Rehana Zaman's Plantation last week in our gallery – what a buzz! A huge thank you to all who joined us, as well as Febvre Wines for supplying the vino 🍷 Plantation is running in our gallery until 19 December. Plantation is a new solo exhibition by artist Rehana Zaman, exploring land use, labour and environmental collapse through the experiences of agricultural workers. The exhibition includes two new films presented within an immersive sculptural landscape. The films 'Soft Fruit' (filmed in Angus, Scotland) and Jo Kherray so Khaey' (filmed in Punjab, Pakistan), follow migrant seasonal workers, sharecroppers, tenants and day labourers as they pick, prepare and transport cash crops. The installation extends this world into a sculptural environment riffing off agricultural structures, such as polytunnels and cooling tents, transforming our gallery into an immersive landscape of light and sound. If you find yourself in Temple Bar, pop in and take a minute to experience our transformed gallery! As always, this exhibition is free to attend, no booking required. Running until 19 December. No Woman is an Island by Róisín Stack is coming to Project as part of its UK and Ireland tour! Running from 3 – 5 Dec in the Cube, with tickets from €18 via link below. Three years ago, a theatre maker set out to investigate woman’s tireless pursuit of alone time. She presents her findings, veering between texts from great female thinkers, banal thoughts about crockery and intimate vignettes from a marriage. It maps the internal and external spaces in which we live our lives while walking a wonky line through cultural theories and histories of female solitude. ISL interpreted performance: 3 Dec, 6:30pm Baby-friendly matinee*: 4 Dec, 12pm Post-show artist talk on Making Art as a Mother: 4 Dec, 12pm *A relaxed performance for parents and carers with babies of up to 18 months of age. We're making masks this week! 🍬 Kickstart your Halloweekend with us at the Sweet Spot as we create our own ceremonial Masks of Play with artist/ photographer Elvin Ojuka. Workshop tickets are €15, including a free drink in our bar. Mask making and wearing is something that exists across many cultures... We like to see the beauty in our differences over this side! Our workshop also highlights the origins of Halloween, aka Samhain, the ancient Irish festival. A time when communication with The Otherworld was possible. At the Sweet Spot, that Otherworld is filled with our child selves. This Friday we're letting our inner child out. If you don’t grab a workshop spot, you’re still very welcome to join us for the night. Our standard €7.50 tickets, which also include a free drink from our bar, will still be available! So pull up, unwind, and enjoy the Sweet Spot ambiance. Book now via the link: bit.ly/4srmFaw Please note: workshop spaces are limited, so secure your ticket. Don’t wait for your friend to make up their mind – take your fun seriously! 🙂‍↔️🍬 Photography by Michael D’Angelo. IDs in ALT Text.

Not long now until the Italian Institute of Culture in Dublin present PRE-GIUDIZIO, an international dance performance coming to Project on 6 Nov in the Space Upstairs. Tickets from €15. In collaboration with @gdogruppodanzaoggi, PRE-GIUDIZIO exposes silent prejudice, what crawls between people and what becomes a barrier. Every step becomes resistance, every gesture a struggle against the chains of preconceived thought. Manipulation, conformity, conditioning and consensus stifle personal development: when everyone looks of things from the same perspective, individual talent is stifled. This is a question. Do you believe this too? It doesn’t matter whose fault it is. Do you have the answer? 6 November, 7:30pm | Space Upstairs 🎟️ Tickets €20/15 via the link: bit.ly/3VwDa8F

There will be a post-show discussion on Thursday 29th October 2026 at 8:30pm. 27 – 31 October | Space Upstairs 🎟️ Preview €18. Performances €22/20 via the link: bit.ly/3VyGW1c IDs in ALT Text.

As we enter week 2 of the #SOLDOUT run of 4.48 Psychosis, Director Tom Creed and Actor Marty Rea chat all things Sarah Kane and what we can expect from Marty's first ever performance in Project. With this also being their first time working together, the duo reflect on their shared experience of bringing the work to life in such an intimate space as the Cube, as well as their own personal relationships with the text. Radical, intimate and darkly funny, 4.48 Psychosis remains “a work of extraordinary beauty” (The New York Times) — confronting despair, lucidity, survival and death with devastating clarity.
