Kindergarten students at PS 53 was selected by the 122nd Precinct to come with Officer McGruff and officers from the precinct to learn about Halloween safety. They had a dance party and receive a special treat.

Prek is learning how to draw trees and created bird feeders for the birds who live in them too! 🦜🌳

Pre-K 114 had fun making bird feeders and hung one on a tree in front of school. 🕊️🦜

We were thrilled to share our Mental Health and Wellness Ambassador Program at the MSK District 31 Meeting. PS 53 and NAMI NYC Staten Island are officially ready to expand this program to even more schools. Let’s keep prioritizing youth mental health! 🤍
