You can mock Indian doctors all you want, but that won’t make your product scientifically validated.
Nobody is asking why you left a $35 billion company. Nobody is questioning your ambition or vision for humanity.
We are asking one simple question: Where is the independent scientific evidence supporting your health claims?
Doctors spend years learning to distinguish genuine medical breakthroughs from impressive marketing.
Questioning unvalidated claims isn’t being “holier-than-thou.”
And if doctors asking for evidence irritates you this much, perhaps the problem isn’t the doctors.
Science welcomes scrutiny.
Marketing fears it.
A lot of you have pinged me to ask - why are you doing Temple? Why did you leave a ~$35b company you founded 18 years ago to chase a niche health wearable? This doesn’t sound rational.
Why did I leave Eternal? What are we building at Temple? What’s our vision statement? What do we have in store for humanity?
I am going to tell you in 4 hours from now (drafting the note as we speak). Stay tuned.
PS – holier-than-thou Indian doctors can skip this lol.
We still don’t understand enough about women’s bodies but somehow there’s always money to invent another gadget that tells you things about your body you didn’t ask to know.
If menstruating women are traditionally barred from entering temples because they supposedly disturb the flow of energy, would wearing the Temple device during periods interfere with its functioning? Asking for the sake of scientific consistency. @deepigoyal
