🚨🚨 DEMOCRACY FILES / THE ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK, PART 13: THE NEW FOUNDING 🚨 The "democracy" ecosystem is mostly decentralized. There's competition sometimes (as this drop will show). But when a direction has been set by funders, actors converge towards a common goal. And that goal is: American government must be rewritten from scratch, and soon. RAD, the project of ex-USAID workers we've been tracing in the Democracy Files, represents one plan. PolicyLink represents another plan. What is PolicyLink? Towards the end of UNELECTED, I write about PolicyLink - a highly connected NGO which receives more than $50 million annually in funding. There, I describe its "soul work" - engineering the human soul to create a renewed democracy. That's not an exaggeration; that's how they describe it, in their own words. PolicyLink appears again in the Democracy Files. Here, you can see PolicyLink personnel use the same language we've seen in prior drops: founders, a new founding, redesigning the federal government. PolicyLink has over $100 million in assets and receives its funding from all the usual suspects - Rockefeller, Open Society, Ford, Gates, etc. It has worked closely with Democratic administrations in setting policy. RAD and PolicyLink compete for the same funders and the same space. But they say the same thing: a "new founding," drafted by people no one elected, ready "before the window opens." RAD is perhaps simply more honest about how that window will open.

No, Mr. Kinzinger. Let's grant you that you will have a blue tsunami on Election Day. You have a mandate to do anything you want. You restore USAID. You start jailing everyone remotely associated with Trump. You pack the Supreme Court. Guess what you've not solved? The sovereign debt crisis still is accelerating at full speed ahead. Even George Soros warned that this was a supercycle that could not be sustained forever. DOGE was your best, last attempt at saving your regime from yourself. Whatever fiscal apparatus comes next will be multilateral in scope - yes - but it will not be your coronation. It will pop the final epistemic bubble. You have sided yourself with slow, bureaucratic systems which cannot adapt, which cannot maneuver, which only know how to make progress through coercion. Your entire power foundation is based on a civil society playbook that is 30+ years old, runs on enormous amounts of unsustainable deficit spending, and is increasingly ideological. We all saw what's happening to Brazil. We all see what's happening to Poland. We all know what you're trying to do here in America. We embrace change. You fear change. We embrace SI. You are trying to cancel SI and data centers. We abhor bureaucracy. You embrace it as your power foundation. Legitimacy has only ever lived in the consent of the governed, as the Founding Fathers wrote. You may have done regime change all over the world, but your color revolutions have never been successful in bringing prosperity because you do not believe humans possess God-granted natural agency.
