Air Chief Marshal AP Singh came as a breath of fresh air amidst usual staid senior appointments of the three services.
Candid, carefree and confident, he will be a very difficult act to follow.
Happy retirement to the Bomber of Bahawalpur.
And as the young officers sang at his farewell party the other day:
Baari barsi khattan gaya si khat ke layaya patasa
Vairiyaan nu maar gaya AP da gandaasa

@BlrCityPolice we are at varthur police station. Need your support.
Lets not talk about terms of service. A pandora's box shall be opened when the way user data is exploited and abused by the big 5 that if dealt by a proper judge will have them pay back to humanity for hundreds of years.
This is going to be the next big miracle for cancer patients. Same cancer. Same etymology and 2 entirely different specially designed vaccines.
I don't think people realise how big a deal this is.
If you have cancer, or somebody you know has cancer, there is a company in Hyderabad that wants to build a personalised cancer vaccine for you.
Try approaching any big pharma company and asking for a personal vaccine. If they even reply to your email, this is the response you'll get: we don't do that here.
PopVax, on the other hand, takes your tumour sequencing data (or a sequence you've designed), designs candidate neoantigen vaccine sequences with their AI pipeline, produces the mRNA, encapsulates it in their LNP formulation, fills vials, and runs QC, all in 8 to 10 weeks. They’re publicly committing to capacity for 100+ of these over the next 12 months and asking people to email them their cancer type/stage and sequencing details.
What a time to be alive.

World-leading cardiac surgeon Asif Hasan was surrounded by the children who received the gift of life thanks to his unerring skills at the emotional climax of another memorable Pride of Britain ceremony. 🥹
Now 70 years old, Mr Hasan has just retired after 35 years of service at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne, but just after receiving his Lifetime Achievement Award, he had an extra special surprise: a cast of patients who would not be alive without him. ❤️

Fascinating, especially for football (the real
one) and cricket lovers like me:
Ben is theoretically right but the beauty of the models is the orchestration, architecture and indexing on being able to churn out results in seconds or minutes.
Has a point on sentience. So far language has our access to sentience and that is unique about us as humans
Ben Affleck says AI is simply matrix multiplication, linear algebra and floating point calculations, and however convincingly it sounds like a person, it has nothing to do with thought, humanity or feeling
“Nor do I believe, and I think it’s important to draw the distinction between what AI does, which is simply predict the next token or the next word in a sentence, then add that word on, run it back to the machine, do a lot of computation and pick the next word."
"That is a very different thing than sentience or thought. And I think we need to be really clear about that because it can be convincingly, in an illusory way, sound like thought or like a person."
"But let’s be real clear. This is matrix multiplication. This is linear algebra. These are floating point calculations. It has nothing to do with thought, humanity, or feeling.”
Excellent except everyone in the future will have these cars. There will be no way left but for them to self regulate the traffic using an AI model placed in each of them

Anti-drug activist #ParwinderSinghJhota’ father #BhimSingh an ex-serviceman says o am still alive and will work to save youths from drugs, let they kill me as well #Punjab #Drugs #Killing

Our politicians have gone mad.
Ashwani Kumar must face the strictest punishment under law for Parvinder Singh Jhota's murder.
But why should his innocent parents, wife and children lose their home?
Punishing an entire family for one person's crime is medieval justice, not the rule of law.
Everyone must oppose this madness.
#WATCH | Punjab: House of the man, accused of shooting anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota, being demolished in Mansa. Police personnel are present at the spot.
The accused was arrested from Churu, Rajasthan earlier today.

Failure to rein in drugs from Punjab is the burning issue today, and will certainly hurt AAP and @BhagwantMann in the upcoming Punjab assembly elections. AAP Govt can come up with increased arrests and drug seizure data, but the bitter truth is that AAP's tall claims went bust !
The last I knew that you have to run 1500m in 6 min to be a constable in @DelhiPolice . Most of these guys appear for CAPF/Army entrance where the standards are higher. This is a fairly high for an avg Indian male. How come these guys are struggling? Are they the real police?
