That's why Temporary Leverage Limits (TLL) now also apply to Vest Capital accounts around major market events. Events and limits: → Nonfarm Payrolls, CPI and FOMC: $ES, $NQ, $RTY and $YM at 5x, $GC and $SI at 3x → Single-stock earnings: 1x on the reporting stock Each limit runs from 15 minutes before the event to 15 minutes after it. When a limit starts: → You can still open or add to positions, up to the reduced leverage → Limit orders more than 2% above the reduced leverage are cancelled. Reduce Only orders stay, unless the position is reduced or closed → Positions more than 2% above it are reduced to the limit. Margin stays in the position and its size shrinks. Fees and any loss on the reduced part come from that margin → If your account is not in drawdown and covers the new margin, nothing is reduced → If your account is more than 1% below starting capital, those positions are closed in full → Take Profit and Stop Loss orders stay active. Fixed-size orders shrink with the position, so check them afterwards When the limit ends, normal leverage returns. Cancelled orders are not restored and reduced positions keep their new size.
