Today makes it a year since my sister had her kidney surgery🥹 After 3 years on dialysis, I still can’t believe how far we have come. It’s been a lot for her and my family. Kidney failure is not something I would wish on anyone, watching someone you love go through it is a different kind of pain. The tears, the pain, the loans, the hospital bills, the sleepless nights and fear, it was a lot for us. It’s been a long journey and we still have so much to be grateful for🙏
