Launching Localflow Alpha fully Opensource and Free
Talk, and get clean text right where you type. Free for Mac, Windows and Linux, and it all runs on your computer.
It drops the ums, follows you when you change your mind, and turns a rambled list into a numbered one.
In Claude Code or Codex, a file you name becomes an [@]path, and "and send it" presses Enter.
No account. No API key. No cloud.
Cleanup runs on its own 351 MB model, localflow-clean, at ~0.06 s a sentence. Wispr Flow is $15/month and sends your voice to their cloud.
It's an alpha, English only for now, and the installers aren't signed yet, so your OS will warn you once.

It's been months since I last wrote a line of code.
That doesn't mean I did nothing I got more than 10 times the work done shipping like crazyyy.
We are just getting started the future is going to be wild 🔥🔥
I replaced the 4B model in localflow with one I trained myself.
qwen3.5:4b → localflow-clean (0.8B)
4.3 GB → 530 MB GPU memory
774 ms → 141 ms per cleanup
2.5 s → 0.1 s to load
248k → 32k token vocabulary, English only
On my hand-written test cases it scores 32/41 against the 4B's 35/41. It's nearly as accurate, about 5× faster, and an eighth of the memory.
