With more than a billion Catholics counting on him, @Pontifex still made time to vote back home in the First District!
Thank you, Holy Father, for reminding us that every voice matters. It's a true honor to call the first American pope my constituent!

The Mississippi State Medical Examiner's autopsy report found no water in his lungs or airways, despite the grand jury report suggesting Nolan Wells' death was an accidental drowning. The cause and manner of death remain undetermined, with documented evidence of head injuries noted in the report.
This is major. It is about time!
The entire presidential television press pool — Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN — has agreed to suspend coverage in the wake of Trump’s decision to ban CNN, Politico, and MS NOW from the White House newrepublic.com/post/215641/…
My God!
CHAOS JUST ERUPTED ACROSS CHICAGO
Powerful storms tore across the Chicago area, unleashing damaging winds, flash flooding, downed trees, and near-whiteout conditions as they swept through one of America’s largest metro areas.
Within minutes, roads disappeared beneath rising water, visibility collapsed, and powerful winds transformed an ordinary afternoon into a dangerous situation for millions.
This wasn’t just another summer thunderstorm… it was a reminder of how fast nature can completely change the landscape.
👇 If you’re anywhere in or around Chicago, what are conditions like where you are?

Today we honor what would have been Emmett Till's 85th birthday.
Emmett's life was stolen at just 14 when he was lynched in Mississippi. Through the courage of Mamie Till Mobley, the Black news media exposed the brutality of racism in America to the world and ignited the Civil Rights Movement.
Today, we also hold space for Nolan Wells and his loved ones as they seek answers surrounding his death.
May Emmett's legacy reminds us that every child deserves to grow up, every family deserves answers, and justice delayed is justice denied.
