Fans may have subscribed specifically to watch this series. Moving it at the last minute is pathetic treatment of paying consumers.

IPL 2027 Mini-Auction will be held in Goa in December 2026, BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia confirms.
The auction returns to India after three overseas editions, with franchises raising concerns over the travel, logistics and costs of sending large delegations abroad for a mini-auction.
Timings for SA vs AUS ODI series, starting tomorrow :
1st & 2nd ODI - 10 AM Local and 1:30 PM IST
3rd ODI - 1:30 PM Local and 5 PM IST
Most likely, these could be the timings for CWC 2027 as well.
With 57 matches scheduled across 7 weeks, double-headers will likely include a 1:30 PM local start (5 PM IST), while most games will be morning 10 AM starts ( 1:30 PM IST), including India matches and the knockouts, to cater to the Indian audience.

In other words, they want flatter pitches for the World Cup and future SA20 seasons.
What a shame. SA is known for its varied surfaces, from pace and bounce to seam and slower pitches. Now drop-ins are being installed everywhere except Centurion, where the surface is already flat. Tells you everything.
Wouldn't be surprised if these flatter drop-ins are used for India's WC matches, to favour the richest board 🚶.
