Rah'Fael Pacheco

Film Series | Schwartz Athlete Spotlight Rah'Fael Pacheco @rah90294 Ursuline High School NT/G 6'0 289 Lbs. C/O 2029 Based on the handful of reps reviewed, he profiles as a disruptive interior defender with the first-step quickness to create penetration and the functional strength to finish through contact. On the opening rep, he handles a double-team look by avoiding the full force of the chip, slipping between both blockers before they can establish control and finishing in the backfield for a tackle for loss. His ability to reduce contact while attacking the gap is an important part of that play. At :09, he beats the center to the point of attack, establishing leverage early and using a single arm to control the lineman. Keeping his opposite arm available allows him to finish the tackle without surrendering his positioning. The :40 rep adds another element to his profile, as he works laterally across the formation and covers ground to assist on the stop. For an interior defender of his size, that pursuit range is notable. These snaps offer an encouraging look at his combination of initial quickness, block control, finishing ability and mobility along the defensive front.
