Talked to someone, who runs the biggest motorbike riders fleet in Pakistan, about Karachi roads post this rain spell. And I quote his response “They’ve been relatively clear and no rider got into any major issue”
Bottom line: Karachi has endemic entrenched drainage issues that must be talked about openly, and a coalition of willing and courageous made to fix them, but city response to get water off the roads has been elite. Sadly Jibran made all this tweet sitting on a sofa. It means nothing when those who have thousands of riders on the ground are saying different.

Mao was a godsend to the Chinese people. Mao commanded the respect of great men like Zhou Enlai and Deng Xiaoping. Without Mao, there would be no modern China.
