After. The monkey roast is dinner; then we shit in our mud huts on a full stomach whilst holding our annual symposium on why your jokes peaked in 1457.

No, we don’t have YouTube in Africa. We just gather around the village elder every evening while he reenacts whatever happened on the internet that day.

No medical treatment, no change of clothes, straight to the Netanyahu for an interview
NEW: Netanyahu comes face to face with Yaniv, one of the Flydubai passengers who sprang into action as the plane plunged. Netanyahu says Yaniv broke into the cockpit with a crew member and helped overpower a pilot who had stabbed the other pilot and apparently tried to crash the aircraft. New photos now capture the two meeting in Israel after the passengers made it safely home.

Four years ago, Captain Ibrahim Traore took over Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 and the revolution was born. Today the people of Burkina Faso don’t regret that decision. 💯

It is an absolute tragedy that the nearly 2 Billion of us can remain at the mercy of tiny countries like Israel and the UAE in addition to the traditional colonial powers. Our refusal to unite and act together and a useless @_AfricanUnion is not helping our case.
Dubai’s gold market thrives on stolen African gold. 💰 Over 90% of the gold sold in Dubai comes from illicit African sources, funding wars, exploitation, and genocide — while the continent bleeds. Blood Gold built those skyscrapers. 🩸 Africa produces the gold and bleeds for it. The UAE steals the gold and profits from the trade. A SWISSAID investigation found that at least 435 tonnes of gold worth more than $30 BILLION were smuggled out of Africa in 2022 alone. And the UAE was by far the biggest destination. An estimated 405 tonnes of that undeclared African gold ended up in the UAE that year. Between 2012 and 2022, the UAE imported approximately 2,569 tonnes of African gold that had not been declared for export by African countries, worth around $115 BILLION. Think about that. 2,569 tonnes of African gold. $115 BILLION. One decade. Much of Africa’s artisanal gold is produced in countries where weak regulation, conflict, corruption and armed groups make the supply chains particularly vulnerable to smuggling. Gold can arrive in Dubai by commercial flights, in hand luggage, aircraft holds and even private jets. Once it enters the UAE’s gold-trading and refining system, tracing its original source becomes extremely difficult. Impossible even. That is how African gold can be transformed from illicit African gold into legally traded UAE gold and eventually enter international markets. And this is the part Africans need to understand: Africa is not poor because Africa lacks wealth. Africa is the world’s richest continent in natural resources and arable land. Africa is also the continent with the youngest and the fastest growing population. The problem is that too much of that wealth leaves Africa cheaply, illegally or through opaque networks — while the profits accumulate elsewhere. Sudanese gold. Congolese gold. Ghanaian gold. Malian gold. Burkinabè gold. African gold sustains Dubai. People die for this gold. This is why Africa must take control of its mineral wealth, its supply chains and its refineries. Our gold should build African hospitals, African schools, African industries and African economies — not foreign fortunes.

The people of Burkina Faso can finally celebrate real independence that the rest of Africa is still fighting for.
Last night, the people of Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 came out in their thousands to celebrate four years of sovereignty under Captain Ibrahim Traoré.

The transition from the SHA provider portal to the HMIS system has progressed well. All 6,427 counties public Level 2–4 Health facilities have successfully transitioned to the new system. An additional one-month extension has been granted to all public Level 5 and 6 Health facilities, faith-based organisation (FBO) facilities, and private facilities. During this period, the Digital Health Agency (DHA) will undertake Rapid Results Initiatives (RRI) with these facilities to support and complete the transition. Importantly, all patients will continue to access services at facilities that have not yet fully transitioned. The ongoing transition will therefore not disrupt access to healthcare services.

Hi Kenya and @StandardKenya Do you want a corrupt criminal handling the most of your Kenyan money? Pretty sure Charles Kerich - who is responsible for more money than anyone else in Kenya as CEC of Nairobi County - has been breaking the law. He’s been director & shareholder (via his brother Andrew as proxy) of VeGrid Ltd. For the US branch he is actually shareholder himself - check charleskerich.com/ 🇰🇪 Kenyan law is quite clear about conflicts of interest for public officials. If you are a County Executive Committee (CEC) member, you are a State officer. You cannot use public office to advance your own private business interests. 📌 Constitution, Article 75: A State officer must avoid conflicts between personal interests and public duties and cannot put private interests ahead of the public interest. 📌 Constitution, Article 77 + Leadership & Integrity Act, s.26: A full-time State officer is restricted from other gainful employment, particularly where it conflicts with the office or impairs independent judgment. 📌 Conflict of Interest Act 2025, s.19: A public officer cannot be a party to or beneficiary of a goods, works or services contract with their own reporting entity—and cannot use official power to award or influence a contract in which they have a private interest. 📌 Leadership & Integrity Act, s.35: You cannot simply do indirectly through another person what would breach the integrity rules if you did it yourself. Oh and I have recordings and will swear under oath in court Vegrid Ltd. CEO tom ogutu told me charles kerich is the actual director, and he also admitted he is making corrupt illegal moves to benefit the solar company.
