Big milestone for Reducto: we’ve raised a $75M Series B led by a16z, bringing our total funding to $108M.
Since our launch, we’ve been obsessed with pushing the limits of what’s possible when AI meets the real-world messiness of documents. We’ve now processed 1B+ pages, nearly 6x the pages since our Series A less than 6 months ago.
We’re doubling down on model research, developer tooling, and the reliability that production AI demands. We'll be announcing a series of product improvements that will extend our capabilities even further, helping our customers get even closer to perfect accuracy across their most challenging docs.
A big thank you to everyone who helped get us here. But we're just getting started - if you're interested in what we're doing, we’re hiring across all functions! reducto.ai/careers
youtube keeps recommending this slander for some reason and it pisses me off every time I see it

one of my guilty pleasures is watching @ImpulseLabs youtube content in awe, while unfortunately knowing I probably won't be able to get a cooktop till I buy a house someday...

I am incredibly excited about this new launch / product. Bye @Microsoft, thanks for the years of docs. Onto the next generation of what document creation and editing looks like 📄
have been using kino all morning and I'm addicted
it's really that good
Reducto Office has become the default way I work with documents as CTO - legal drafting, spreadsheets, and slides.
It's just *so* much better than the built in tools. Agents should be focused on knowledge work rather than XML manipulation.
also low key I think @trykino might be the greatest video editing software ever made this took me 5 minutes to make and it was so fast to iterate!!
Insanely proud of the team (@kirthi20_, @hewliyang) behind this launch! Unbelievable work for a team of two.
this app is sooooo sick:

shows the power of what you can do with reducto's r-1 parse quality and granular parse citations :)
some of the best r-1 evals came from documents we weren’t sure it could handle. think 10m+ pixel construction blueprints, 32k+ output tokens for a single page, and even the muffin-vs-chihuahua captcha.
In this video, @TheOtherGandhi_ and I discussed why the weird tests are often the (most) useful ones and what they taught us about r-1’s capabilities and limitations! we challenge you to keep sending us your strangest documents.
