TIL: That banh mi is so uncommon in England that neither Paul Hollywood nor Nigella Lawson appear to have ever heard of it
From the same waterfront where Tony Jannus flew the first regularly scheduled commercial flight in world history (St Pete to Tampa, 1914), this morning saw the launch of the new cross bay electric VTOL air taxi system

The reason Elizabeth Holmes could find Who's on First funny without actually "getting" the joke is that the wordplay is not what's funny about Who's on First. What's funny about Who's on First is Lou Costello. The wordplay is just the canvas for him to do his thing.
Betty Gilpin is absolutely the perfect actress to express wordless frustration with how ridiculous Ethan Hawke's Lee Raybon character is. So glad this show is back.

Today marks the 100th birthday of the @tampatheatre! From the stories on the screen to the stories in the audience, this movie palace has cemented its place in Tampa's history, and we're excited to see what the next century holds.🎬🍿
Blaming the Rays' attendance problems on fans having to cross a bridge to get to the games elides that there are more people in Pinellas County (who don't have to cross any bridge) than in Milwaukee County, and yet the Brewers still easily outdraw the Rays.
