Here’s why a vote for Mike Rogers is NOT a vote for Jewish safety: therealmikerogers.com

We and @mpac_national are angered and deeply disturbed by the unprecedented levels of anti-Muslim rhetoric coming from the highest levels of the federal government in the lead-up to the 2026 midterm elections.
The pattern of hateful, Christian nationalist speech and fearmongering against Muslim candidates and American Muslims directly endangers these Americans, as well as American Jews and all minority groups in the United States.
These statements raise the question of whether these Republican officials will protect the United States as a pluralistic democracy, including the participation of Muslims, Jews and other non-Christian Americans. Equally troubling is the limited public condemnation from major members of Congress on both sides of the aisle.
We call on faith leaders and communal institutions across all religious groups to condemn this escalating, dangerous Islamophobic rhetoric from senior Republican officials, and commit to fighting hate in all its forms.
Read our full joint statement here: jstreet.org/press/joint-stat…
And keep reading below to see the recent statements by senior administration officials and members of Congress that illustrate the extent of this dangerous rhetoric:
I'll be honest, I've never met Haley Stevens' fiancé and I don't know anything about him. But it is never OK to make fun of someone for how they look or for a disability, even when you disagree with them.

Mike Rogers became chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. Months later, his wife's defense contracting firm landed a billion-dollar government deal.
As the couple's wealth grew, so did questions about the arrangement.
@Timodc walks @AdamKinzinger through the timeline.
NEW: Mike Rogers won his first congressional race by making it harder for students to vote. Legislation he passed helped drive turnout at MSU down by 12%, and Rogers won by 111 votes.
According to one of his former staffers and colleagues, that was the law's intention. #MISen

CAUGHT: After Mike Rogers became Intel Chair, his wife's company received billions in lucrative contracts from the government.
As a result, Mike Rogers saw his net worth skyrocket as he bought two yachts, and multiple homes in Maryland, Virgina, and Florida.
This is as corrupt as it gets.

NEW: @DropSiteNews reports Mike Rogers' so-called coalition of "Democratic supporters" is actually full of right-wingers who have "a verified history of supporting Republicans."

In spin room, @MalloryMcMorrow makes clear some of @AbdulElSayed's best economic points in tonight's debate. Tied Mike Rogers to Big Pharma, Iran war that jacked up gas prices, and monetizing his time in Congress with millions of dollars and yachts.
An ad that suggests some Michigan Jews won’t vote for Abdul is not the resounding endorsement of Mike Rogers that the @RJC thinks it is. Also, politicizing the 3-year anniversary of 10/7 is more than a little gross.
Today, on the 3-year anniversary of Oct. 7, the @RJC Victory Fund will announce a $2 million campaign targeting Jewish voters in Michigan
The ads feature lifelong Jewish Democrats who say they will not vote for El-Sayed

The most important question asked in @Eric_Alterman's piece in the NYT yesterday:
"The question facing AIPAC is not simply whether it can find a way to adjust to this new political world but, more fundamentally, whether it can even see the changes demanded by these new circumstances?"
