BREAKING UPDATE: Rockland County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Aidan Rowan in connection with an alleged ballot fraud investigation.
As Monsey Politics first reported back in September, Rowan, a Republican Committee member and chairman of the Rockland Young Republicans, was under investigation.
In October, we followed up with another report, citing claims that authorities were pushing off his arrest until after Election Day.
Now, just one day after the election, Rowan has been arrested.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, there were previous unsuccessful attempts to locate Rowan. Today, he turned himself in at the Sheriff’s Office.
Monsey Politics will continue following this developing story.
Rumors are circulating on social media that @RocklandSheriff has an arrest warrant for Aidan Rowan, who is the chairman of the Rockland Young Republicans and a Mike Lawler operative.
According to the claims, at Mike Lawler’s request they will not arrest him before the election.
Monsey Politics is not confirming this post, just sharing it as a news story.

Congratulations, @CaitForNewYork on your critical win in New York’s 17th district!
New Yorkers in the Hudson Valley deserve a leader who will fight for public safety and work tirelessly to keep guns out of the wrong hands. I’m certain they will have that leader in Cait 👏

READ: Mike Lawler defends Peter Oberacker and believes that he is "not an antisemite."
"Oberacker came under fire after a Facebook post from Veterans Day 2015 resurfaced in which he paid tribute to his grandfather who served in the Nazi-German military during World War II."

“The battleground district with the biggest affordability gap is New York’s 17th District, in the Hudson Valley. Costs there rose 34 percent between 2019 and 2024; incomes rose only 19 percent.” – The Washington Post
The graph speaks for itself. Under Mike Lawler’s leadership, life across NY-17 has only become harder and more expensive. You deserve better.
As your member of Congress, I will fight to actually make the Hudson Valley more affordable by rooting out Washington corruption, lowering middle-class taxes, and taking on the corporations and special interests that are jacking up prices on working families.

Joe Scarborough has #TheRealMikeLawler dead to rights here, #NY17.
In just under two minutes he casually exposes all of Mike Lawler’s hypocrisy, phoniness and duplicity.

Absolutely BRUTAL two minutes for Mike Lawler on Morning Joe as the panel dismantles his faux independence:
@ScarboroughNow: “Lawler voted with Donald Trump 282 out of 282 times.”
Mika: “Oh wait, that’s not standing up to him.” 🧵(1/4)

Nothing beats fall in the Hudson Valley, and the Nanuet Fall Festival did not disappoint! Thank you to the @NanuetChamber and all the organizations involved for making this event possible. Great to see so many members of the community out there enjoying the beautiful weather.

I grew up in a home here in the Hudson Valley where every dollar counted. I’m running because politicians in Washington have left families like mine behind.
Hardworking people should not be struggling this much to get by. In Congress, I’ll fight to lower taxes and bring down the cost of living — so no one has to choose between filling up the gas tank or putting food on the table.

Omg!
Mike Lawler really *is* Elon Musk’s puppet!
After all, Musk has spent millions to keep Lawler in office.
Check out this costume at the Nyack Parade in #NY17 last night.
This truly is #TheRealMikeLawler lol.

Mike Lawler voted for an IMPEACHMENT INQUIRY into Joe Biden over ‘his family’s financial dealings with foreign businesses’.
But he won’t even call for a hearing into Trump or Kushner’s blatantly corrupt foreign business entanglements?!
#TheRealMikeLawler is a hypocrite, #NY17.

In 2022, Mike Lawler said: “Before you vote tomorrow, fill up your tank and go grocery shopping — it will inform your decision.” So we took him up on that.
Before early voting starts tomorrow, try it. Then tell me if the system’s working for you.
It shouldn’t be this hard. You deserve better.

Our Jewish neighbors deserve to feel safe and welcome in their communities. But with antisemitism on the rise on both sides of the political spectrum here in New York and across the country, too many do not. It’s up to all of us — especially our leaders in government — to fix that.
In Congress, I will always be a fierce supporter of our Jewish community. That means speaking out and fighting back against antisemitism in all its forms, and ensuring America’s strong support for Israel and the Israeli people.
I’m so grateful to have the support of the @USJewishDems and Westchester Jewish Democrats, who are on the frontlines of the fight against antisemitism.
