Today in London, I met Foreign Secretary @Ed_Miliband to discuss support for Ukraine and wider European security, including countering Russia’s sabotage and increasing pressure on Russia to end its aggression and secure a lasting peace.
We also discussed strengthening our close defence cooperation.
British and Estonian soldiers stand together to defend NATO’s eastern flank and preserve peace, and we highly value the UK’s commitment to our shared security.
I learned so much in the Combined Cadet Force from 1991-1997 - and it helped me when I became a reservist almost 30 years later!

With almost all votes counted, Latvians have given a rare landslide to the United List of Andris Kulbergs.
Of most interest to international followers:
Kulbergs is very pro-Ukraine, pro-NATO, pro-Europe. He’s clear that Ukraine must win, not merely survive, and that Europe must step up to ensure its security. The government has already committed Latvia to spending at least 5% of GDP on defence, while deepening defence cooperation with Ukraine to ensure it is spent on more of the right stuff.
The former automotive executive only entered Latvia’s Saeima (parliament) at the last election and became PM just four months ago. He has now secured the largest vote share since the restoration of independence.
