There’s currently a lot of hype about “AI editing” but at its current capability it basically cannot do any actual nuanced decisions because its contextual understanding of the entire scene and source footage is extremely weak. It can cut dead air out of a static shot.
Like, I have seen it do cool stuff on a single long shot and some face cam footage, but it’s not at the point where it can say, take different perspectives of me playing the same level and sync different shots to form a story. Not really able to understand what footage should correspond to what explanations, even.
My original plan for editing Mission 3 of Ace Combat involves plans for 4 different music montages but I might have to scale that back for being too stupid
1) Form a relatively successful YouTube channel with 1.57 million subscribers
2) Herd 31,720 of them into your Discord server where you have ultimate power to torture them
3) Systematically and forcibly rename several dozen of them to your made up My Little Pony OCs with awkward and unusual names
4) Torture them several times a day with depictions of their Ponysona that you made on Picrew until they consider suicide
Follow for more beginner friendly crimes for those of you just getting into criminality for the first time
the next video should have a higher production budget and take longer to make but it'll be longer and more insane
just bought an entire british army chemical suit for twenty dollars does anyone have any chemicals they want to throw at me to test it
reading hate threads about me but feeling relief because they all disagree on which video was when I started to be bad because they don’t have a coherent way to explain it and haven’t actually analyzed the videos
the best advice I’ve received from creators is that you have to analyze what appeals to an actual core audience with intent instead of believing that motivated threads on Twitter or Reddit have disproportionate backing - because oftentimes, it’s people who have, for any reason or another, already stopped engaging. I can improve right now, there’s often quite a bit for me to do, but usually people are way less impressed by things that impressed them in the past because we are all now different people
I’m a nervous little motherfucker so when people tell me they preferred something and why, I go back and I analyze it. I analyze it in much more depth than your memories containing only the highlights can produce. I take that into account, and then I evaluate what’s best. You’re filtering out a lot.
