My new app, Super Simple Feeds, a stress free RSS/ATOM/JSON feed reader, for visionOS and macOS is now available! apps.apple.com/us/app/super-…

I'm particularly happy with the focused reader mode, especially in visionOS. Being fully immersed in an environment while listening to music and swiping through posts is my new favorite way to catch up on my favorite blogs.

I've been working on an RSS feed reader because I have very specific opinions about how an app like this should be. It's also a great excuse to work on a visionOS app. testflight.apple.com/join/PM…

Pretty great to lay back under the clouds and catch up on RSS feeds in an immersive environment.

Really happy with the progress I was able to make on my RSS reader for visionOS this weekend. It’s tough to beat the focused experience of reading blog posts under the stars by Mt. Hood.

I got my RSS reader project running natively on the Vision Pro!

Plus, it's kind of interesting to see what and where I took photos. Here's a closeup of the trace of photos I took during a hike in Fruita, Colorado recently.

So, over the long weekend I started a new little side project to improve this. My app takes the timestamp of a photo and finds an exact location in a GPX track from something like a recorded walk with an Apple Watch.
