STA TORNANDO MUSETTI 🔙😍

Don’t sleep on how great this run at ATP 250 Lyon was by Lorenzo Musetti.
His first title in four years, and it included an insanely late night finish in the quarterfinal that he recovered from beautifully to beat Cobolli (saving four MPs) and then Fritz in the final.

🇮🇹🔥 MUSETTI CAMPIONE 4 ANNI DOPO! 🏆
🏆 È IL TERZO TITOLO ATP DELLA CARRIERA DI MUSETTI, dopo Amburgo e Napoli nel 2022.
Lorenzo è tornato! E che modo di farlo! 🇮🇹💥

24 year old Lorenzo Musetti defeats Taylor Fritz 6-3, 6-4 to win in Lyon his 3rd career ATP title, first in four years!
Breaks a crazy streak of 9 consecutive finals lost (7 ATP, 2 Challenger).
1st career title indoors.
Welcome back!

Musetti might just have the most aesthetic backhand in the world right now.
One of the very last single-handed backhanders left in the game.
Tennis needs him doing well.

Seriously impressive effort by Lorenzo Musetti, coming back from an impossibly late finish this morning to stave off match points and beat Flavio Cobolli in three in glacially slow court conditions.
He’ll face Taylor Fritz in the ATP 250 Lyon final.

INCREDIBLE effort from Musetti specially considering the way he won last night -- 3h35, finished at 1.20am.
Fritz vs. Musetti tomorrow, amazing final for a 250.
