Their response was jack and shit.
Yet, Israeli missteps garner endless critique.
Israel isn’t the reason Palestinian areas of the West Bank are a shithole. It’s the fact that their government is corrupt.
If you actually cared about them, you’d focus on all of it.

🇫🇮🇺🇦 Finnish volunteer Benjamin Alexander Leonardo Tollander has reportedly been killed while fighting for Ukraine against Russia's invasion.
He came from Finland to stand alongside Ukrainians, risking his life to defend another nation's freedom.
His reported death has not yet been independently confirmed.
Honor, respect, and eternal gratitude to this brave Finnish volunteer.
Ukraine will never forget the foreigners who stood with her when she needed them most.

Jääkiekkoliiton puheenjohtaja Heikki Hietanen ilmoitti Suomen osallistuvan MM-kisoihin, vaikka Venäjä olisi mukana. Ilta-Sanomien mukaan liiton hallitus ei kuitenkaan ole edes tehnyt asiasta päätöstä.
Pidän tätä isona epäonnistumisena. Miksi Suomen piti ilmoittaa hyväksyvänsä tilanne ennen kuin Venäjän paluuta on edes yritetty estää?
Olympiakomitean linjauksen taakse ei myöskään tarvitse piiloutua. Lopullinen päätösvalta osallistumisesta kuuluu lajiliitoille.
Suomen pitää ottaa aktiivinen johtorooli, koota muita jääkiekkoliittoja yhteisen boikottiuhan taakse ja vaatia IIHF:ää selvittämään kaikki oikeudelliset mahdollisuudet Venäjän paluun estämiseksi.
Kaiken huipuksi Venäjän paluu saattaa johtaa siihen, että juuri Ukraina menettää paikkansa ensi vuoden MM-kisoissa. Tämä olisi irvokasta.
Suomen ei pidä olla ensimmäisten joukossa ilmoittamassa, että pelaamme joka tapauksessa. Meidän pitäisi olla ensimmäisten joukossa kokoamassa muita maita vastustamaan tätä päätöstä.
Jääkiekkoliiton hallituksella on ensi viikolla mahdollisuus korjata kurssi. Toivon todella, että se käyttää tämän mahdollisuuden.

This is what happened to Muhammad al-Bayouk, a Khan Yunis Hamas member who was killed several days ago by the IDF. Al-Bayouk received a phone call from a Shin Bet officer, who gave him the ultimatum. Al-Bayouk climbed onto a roof and he was struck by a missile. This is what the Saudi-owned pan-Srab newspaper Asharq al-Awsat reported.

A picture of me eating a schwarma in Israel has generated infinitely more outrage on Irish Twitter than a Trinity College fellow and an elected representative celebrating October 7th. Indeed, the elected representative in question was elected *after* that public celebration, wherein he described the massacre as ‘heroic’, ‘legitimate’, and ‘beautiful’.
Point proven a hundred times over. This is the dehumanising rot that has taken over a portion of Ireland.
A pro-peace individual is demonised for eating Israeli food (amongst several posts publicly expressing a need for a changed government), whereas the barbaric massacre and rape of Israelis is normalised.
