✅Make sure your privacy options are configured so that your posts are only visible to the people you want to see them, for example only your friends.
❌Try not to share too many personal details that a fraudster could use to build a picture of you. They can use facts such as your birthday, where you live, family relationships or pet names to steal your identity or make their fraud more convincing.
A warning has been issued to parents over sharing ‘back to school’ photos of children on social media amid an increasing risk of AI being used to manipulate images.
Dr. Claire Bessant from Northumbria Law School, who specialises in technology and children's privacy, told #BBCBreakfast about the risks involved - after Sussex Police shared a fake AI photo to highlight the problem
